The Spice Girls plan to revive their solo careers
The newly reformed Spice Girls, who kicked off their reunion world tour in Vancouver on Sunday – have revealed their plans to revive their own solo careers.
Victoria, Geri, Mel C, Mel B & Emma have all kinds of projects on the go – and when the Spice Girls’ tour finishes next year, 35-year-old Geri, known as Ginger Spice in the band, will be working on 2 children’s books.
The novels, titled Eugenia and Lavender are penciled in to be released in May 2008 – but this date is yet to be confirmed.
“I had so much fun creating the characters,” mother of one Geri says.
33-year-old Mel C, known as ‘Sporty Spice’ will attempt to restart her solo music career and is already performing at an LA nightclub tomorrow night.
“The hype surrounding the comeback has done wonders for her confidence and she reckons she’s got another solo No 1,” says a source close to Mel.
32-year-old Mel B, known as ‘Scary Spice’ is keen to embark on a new career as a TV presenter,
With ‘Posh Spice’, Victoria Beckham, 33, who will front a campaign for her favorite designer Marc Jacobs.
And Finally ‘Baby Spice’, Emma Bunton, 31, who is keen to spend time with her new born son Beau.
