Marc Bannerman quizzed by police
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here loverat Marc Bannerman is being quizzed by police over a reported disagreement with a photographer near Cerys Matthew’s family home in Pembrokshire, Wales.
According to reports, former Eastender Marc & Catatonia star Cerys are being hounded by paparazzi photographers, and local police in Dyfed Powys Police are investigating a complaint about an alleged incident outside a pub in the area of Trefin.
A source told Welsh newspaper Wales On Sunday: “One of the snappers got a photo of Cerys and Marc in the pub and then he got back into his car.”
“But then Marc and a male friend of theirs came out of the pub, opened the door to the photographer’s car and started pulling his camera away from him.”
It is also claimed that a memory card was removed from the digital camera – and after the photographer failed to retrieve it, he called the police.
Dyfed Powys Police confirmed that they were investigating an incident.
Officers visited Cerys’ home on Friday and are believed to have questioned Marc.
A police spokesperson said: “Dyfed Powys Police are investigating an alleged incident that occurred between a male and persons outside a licensed premises in Trefin, Pembrokeshire, at approximately 2.45pm on Friday.”
A spokesperson for Marc Bannerman could not be reached for comment.
