George Clooney slams female celebrities who emerge from cars knickerless

Heart-throb George Clooney has had a pop at celebrities who emerge from cars knickerless – but claims he looks “fantastic” without his own underwear.
The Hollywood actor hinted that stars – such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears who’ve both been spotted flashing their bare bits in public – should use their fame in less
frivolous ways.
He made the comments in an interview with USA Today about his aid mission to Africa – and hailed other A-listers who are getting stuck into charity work.
On fellow actor Brad Pitt’s recent crusade in New Orleans, Clooney, 46, said: “It’s a life choice for him and a big part of his life.
“Matt (Damon) does that, too. Don (Cheadle). A lot of the guys who are good friends of mine spend a good portion of their life doing this.
“In some ways, it’s easier for us because we have some financial security, so we can say,
‘OK, let’s stop worrying about ourselves and look out for other people’.
“What should you do with all this kind of attention? Should you get out of a car without wearing underwear?”
The interviewer feigned shock and begged him never to ditch his briefs in public. And he replied: “You’ve never seen me. I look fantastic.”
Oscar winner Clooney will in January take a second trip to Darfur, Sudan, in the hope of bringing back video footage of the land ravaged by famine, disease and warfare.
Over the last few days he’s been globetrotting, appearing at the Dubai Film Festival and will be honored this week by the Nobel Peace Laureates in Rome. Amid his hectic schedule, he revealed he’s currently in pain following a trip to the dentist. “I got a redo of a root canal, and I thought, ‘Well, that’s bad’.
“And then (the dentist) goes, ‘Let’s go to work on this other tooth’.
“I was going to get an implant, and all of a sudden he’s in with a hammer and I lost a tooth, so I’ve got a hole in the side of my head.
“It’s really fun. It’s not just pain, it’s got a pulse.”
The Ocean’s Eleven star – currently dating cocktail waitress Sarah Larson – also says he’ll shun the Christmas festivities in favour of work this year.
“I don’t do a big Christmas thing. I think Christmas at some point is for having a bunch of kids, so I just get through the holidays. “I have a lot of work to do.”
Despite his dodgy tooth, he expects to be back to form for the January trip though, where he’ll attempt to turn the international media spotlight on Darfur.
“I’m not a politician, so the reason I go is to (focus) attention there,” said the two-time Golden Globe winner.
“So we’re going to try to get deeper into Darfur; try to get some cameras in to the tougher camps and have conversations.
“That’s basically all I can do. If you put famous people in front of very ugly sites, people will watch.”
Clooney then revealed a touching moment he experienced during a previous visit. “There was a little girl in a tiny camp in south Sudan who was holding my hand while I was throwing up from eating bad goat who didn’t look like she was going to last a year and a half. “It would be nice if I saw her doing well.”
