Liza Minnelli crew member detained by police

ONE of Liza Minnelli’s crew members was detained by police on suspicion of beating up a photographer, it is reported.
The snapper in question was filming the Cabaret star’s performance in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday night.
Minnelli, 61, was wowing crowds as part of big gala event A Classic Christmas Night, alongside a string of Swedish artists.
Police spokesman Gunnar Samuelsson confirmed the man was suspected of battering and threatening the photographer, according to one US newspaper.
He added the suspect was a member of Minnelli’s entourage, but did not know his exact role. It’s not clear whether any charges have been filed.
Minnelli scooped an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Sally Bowles in the 1972 film Cabaret.
