Singer Victoria Beckham had her breast implants removed in order to avoid her boobs falling out on stage during the Spice Girls’ tour, it has been reported.
Victoria, dubbed ‘Posh Spice’, was worried her enlarged bosoms would come loose from one of her tight outfits – designed by top-notch deigner Roberto Cavalli, while strutting around on-stage performing the band’s dance routines.
So Victoria made the decision to have her implants taken out to avoid any embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions.
A source is quoted as saying: “There is speculation she had her implants taken out for the tour so she can fit into the costumes without the risk of them falling out during some of the more energetic routines.”
Victoria, who’s married to LA Galaxy soccer star David Beckham has, however, previously denied ever having a boob job, until court papers released in 2005, proved that she had undergone breast enhancement surgery.
Last week, Victoria, 33 – who is the only member of the group not to perform a solo track on the reunion tour – defended her vocal talents.
She said: “I’m no Mariah Carey, but I can sing.
“It became very obvious from the start that I was never going to be the best singer or the best dancer or the best actress. I was never a ‘natural.’ You know, I’ve never been that good at anything, to be completely honest.”
