Lindsay Lohan is struggling to get hold of prized Hannah Montana concert tickets.
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress stunned listeners of Las Vegas radio station when she called up to enter a competition to win a pair of the gold-dust tickets, which have been selling on eBay for up to six times the face value.
Miley Cyrus, the 14-year-old daughter of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, stars as Hannah Montana on the hit Disney TV show.
Cyrus plays Miley Stewart who lives a double life as famous pop star Hannah Montanna. Her sold-out ‘Best of Both Worlds Tour’ has been the year’s hottest selling concert and sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale.
Hollywood actress Lindsay resorted to calling in to Las Vegas radio station Mix 94.1 at the behest of a friend who was trying to win Hannah Montana tickets for her two nieces.
The station had been running a contest to give tickets to the listener who could get the most famous person to call.
Despite calls from Slash, Million Dollar Man Lee Majors and Seinfeld’s the Soup Nazi, Lindsay’s call seemed to most surprise the DJs – Mark and Mercedes. “Yes, it’s really me,” Lohan said to the stunned DJs.
During the impromptu interview, Lindsay opened up about her life, revealing she is a changed woman. She said: “I think that my life is different now and it’s changed and I’m growing up and it was time to grow up.
“I’ve gone through a lot and I’m just a different person now.”
According to the station’s website the woman who had Lindsay call, did indeed win the Hannah Montana concert tickets.
