Kevin Federline has beefed-up security at his LA home by hiring extra goons to protect his children from Britney Spears.

Federline, 29 is reportedly concerned for the well-being of sons Sean Preston, 2 and Jayden James – fearing that Britney will try and break in to the house and snatch his sons.

So, in a move to protect his kids, the rapper/dancer has hired a number of heavies to monitor his home.

Three cars, each with two bodyguards in, arrived at Federline’s pad today at around yesterday.

In February 2007, Britney was believed to have driven to Kevin’s home three times and tried to wrestle her way inside to get her kids.

Britney, 26, was thrust into the spotlight in spectacular fashion last week, after she was hospitalized on Thursday night. The troubled singer was restrained and rushed to the Cedar’s Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, with cops suspecting she was under the influence of drugs.

The LA Police Department were called after Britney locked herself in the bathroom with youngest son Jayden James and refused to hand him over to ex-hubby Kevin Federline.

On Friday the singer was stripped of her rights to visit her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, who are living with Federline. The order will remain in place until another hearing when the custody battle continues on January 14th.
