Amy Winehouse has been holidaying at Brian Adams’ Caribbean villa with her ex-boyfriend, George Roberts, while husband Blake Fielder-Civil languishes in jail, it has been revealed.

Blake – who’s currently locked up in London’s Pentonville prison awaiting trial for charges of assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, is said to be furious with Amy after it emerged she spent some of her holiday with former lover Roberts.

The 24-year-old ‘Rehab’ star returned home on Sunday to explain to Blake why she spent time with music manager Roberts on the island of Mustique.

Blake, 25, was already jealous of Amy’s friendship with George.

Amy – who’s due to perform at the Grammy awards in February, has used George as a shoulder to cry on through her recent troubles. A friend of Blake said: “He is furious she was with George while he was locked up

She has lapped up the sun while he’s been on his own feeling miserable. He doesn’t like her friendship with George as it is. Being in jail, he feels more and more detached from Amy.

“He wants an explanation. But he’s also desperate not to lose her.”

Blake – who goes on trial later this month, is said to becoming increasingly depressed in prison. He has apparently already spent a spell in solitary confinement for drinking hooch and making calls on a banned mobile phone.

Friends of Amy said that George, who lives with his girlfriend near Amy’s pad in East London, was with the singe for the first part of her holiday.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Amy loved having George with her. She adores him and they had a great time. She has spoken to Blake when it has been possible and will be seeing him as soon as she can.”

Amy’s spokesman said: “George and Amy are simply old friends.”
