The pain is not bad at all and you are young and strong. I had my first child at 22- I didn't use any drugs for the birth and it was the best ever. I had two children 10 years later and used the drugs - bad mistake I will regret forever. Ever since the epidural I have had nothing but back pain. Don't use the drugs - only afterwards did they shoot me up with some Demerol- oh, was it good. Good Luck Nicole – don’t take the epidural – no need. Please take the epidural, I three babies my first was at 20 and I had an epidural with each one and have no regrets. If I try again for that girl I wouldn't give birth without an epidural.
