Will Smith has become a Scientology recruiter

Will Smith has become an active recruiter for pal Tom Cruise’s Church of Scientology, it has been claimed.

Smith has always refused to confirm his involvement with controversial Scientology, in which Cruise is the most high-profile worshiper.

But Smith raised eyebrows when he gave crew members on his Hancock movie a gift card for a Scientology personality test as a ‘wrap present’, the New York Daily News claims.

“I was introduced to it (Scientology) by Tom, and I’m a student of world religion, Smith told the Access Hollywood TV show last month.

“I was raised in a Baptist household. I went to a Catholic school, but the ideas of the Bible are 98 per cent the same ideas of Scientology, 98 per cent the same ideas of Hinduism and Buddhism.”

Smith’s representative was unavailable for comment.
