Britney Spears and her paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib reportedly crossed the U.S border into Mexico yesterday.
The troubled Toxic singer, 26, was sporting a pink wig when she, Adnan, 35, and other friends checked into a $240-a-night hotel on Rosarito Beach at 3.00pm.
Britney was also seen doing a spot of shopping, treating herself to 2 bags – one a fake Gucci – according to local newspaper El Vigia.
Ghalib chose a rosary and the whole bill totaled $60.
“She looked serious and haggard,” says a sales assistant. “She didn’t have make-up on.”
Since she was released from hospital on Saturday, Britney has been on the move.
“This is all about them playing games with her fans to get exclusive pictures,” one insider said. “She has lost contact with her two sons and her family is so scared for her mental health they fear she’s a suicide risk and she’s out flying or driving around the world playing games.
“It’ just beyond belief.”
Earlier this week, she abandoned her white Mercedes on L.A.’s busy Sunset Boulevard. The car was later towed away by police and impounded.
