Snoop Dogg renews wedding vows
It looks like badboy rapper Snoop Dogg is calling time on his badboy antics: first he quits his hard partying – and now his romancing his wife, Shante.
The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” star, real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr – took Mrs Snoop Dogg on a surprise trip on Saturday – she thought they were off to a pal’s anniversary party, but Snoop had secretly arranged for them to renew their wedding vows.
A source said: “Snoop got up to toast the ‘anniversary couple’ and started talking about his wife. It was so sweet.”
Snoop filed for divorce from Shante in 2004 after they had been together for seven years – but decided against it, because he “had too much lose” and that he couldn’t bear the thought of another man bringing up his children.
“I was going to split up with my wife – my wife wasn’t going to split up with me,” he said last month.
“You know, I was caught up with Hollywood, and the girls and the night life.
“I thought I was the man and I was willing to give up what I had at home for that, until I realized that what I had at home was irreplaceable, so I gave that up to go back home.
“I just don’t want another man raising my kids. That was the main goal. I had kids with my wife because I wanted to be with my wife. And those three babies are all wanted, and I wanted to be with them.”

Being a married women for almost five years now, I beleive that the cheating was both Snoops part as well as the other women. now if this was just an ordinary man that met another women, lets say for argument sake, in another state, a ring is not permentaly fixated on the finger so it can be easily removed and the cheating dog could say that he was never married, have no children, etc, and the oher women would be clueless about everything. Before you all start cheering ladies, it can go the other way as well. We have some very scandolous women out there that will bend over backwards to get what they want. Being that Snoop is a celebrity, at the time the child was conceived, he was at the peak of his career. Both are to blame.. Snoop did not love his wife nor his children enough to keep his pants up and the other women did not respect herself enough to know that she is worth having a man that is hers and only hers. She knew he was married but still put herself in that perdictament. She probably was seeing dollars signs while all of this was taking place. The only innocent people in this situation are the children. The child that was conceived out of this realtionship was probably keept from Snoop for public reason. The family bond will forever be broken. I may be wrong but, Snoop’s current wife does not strike me as the type that openly allow the other child to form a relationship with her three children. it probbaly will bring her back to that point in their relationship where Snoop was sleeping with almost everything thats walking. Both sides need to put the feeling that the have for each other aside and think about whats best for the children, besides they all have something in common:a father. I just hope that the renewal of their vows is not a publicity stunt for their reality show. You not only take these vows in front of family and friends but also in front of GOD. He messed up one time so if he does it again, GOD may not bless him with a wife that will stick by him through all his games and children that may loose all respect for him. All in all, I wish them the best and hope this go around will be better than the last.

i recently saw shante on “hip hop wives” and she pretty much put it out there that “all other hoes should find their own men”… well hell why can’t she keep HER man snoop at the house. he can re-new vows 20 times over but will still take the p**** when offered. he’s the weak one not the other woman who had his child. she’ll get paid one way or another … who looks more dumb – -her (who owes shante not a damn thang) or shante (who we know will take whatever he dishes out)????
I really admire Snoop for growing up, but if Snoop has an outside child…He needs to be in that childs life. It is not the Mothers fault. Snoop Dog is a P-I-M-P, but he loves his wife and I don’t think he would go behind her back and get another woman pregnant. He might cheat on her with other women, but he aint crazy.
