Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher quit Kabbalah

Demi MooreKabbalah’s golden couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have reportedly quit the religion.

Moore and Kutcher, along with Madonna and Guy Ritchie, helped raise the profile of Kabbalah over the past few years.

They even tied the knot in a Kabbalah themed wedding and are usually seen in fancy dress regularly attending parties.

Despite some observers branding the religion a ‘cult’ the pair led the way for celebrities joining, with even pop wreck Britney Spears briefly sporting a red string around her wrist.

Supports of Kabbalah wear the red string, which is worn as a protection against her ‘evil eye’ their wrist.

But Kutcher was spotted last week shopping along trendy Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles without his trademark red string.

And sources close to the couple also claim it has been months since they attended any services, even though they used to regularly be at every Friday services.

“Ashton and Demi used to have an impeccable attendance record,” says one source with close ties to the Kabballah Centre in LA.

Another source added: “It’s been months since the two attended services or participated in the Shabbat dinner after Friday services.

“And adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Kutcher was just last week spotted shopping on Robertson Blvd. without his trademark red string.”

The couple have made no comment or statement about their alleged lapse in attending services that has many wondering why after being such a high profile advertisement for Kabbalah, they seem to have quit.

The source scoffed at rumours that it was down to Moore’s three daughters with fellow star Bruce Willis and instead hinted that Kutcher may be the force behind the couple’s decision to sever ties with Kabbalah.

The source close to the Kabbalah Centre, added: “It’s definitely not Moore’s kids, because they’ve never been active. It’s something that Bruce Willis never allowed.

“Kutcher was tired of being dragged there on Friday nights Whatever the case, the sudden change in routine is worrisome.

“It’s just odd – something must be up.”
