Gwyneth Paltrow on the verge of quitting Hollywood

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed she’s on the verge of quitting Hollywood – because she has lost her ambition to act since becoming a mother.

The 35-year-old ‘Running with Scissors’ star, told of her shock plans in the same week she vowed to quit America because of intrusive paparazzi.

“I don’t have the same ambition that I used to have, and don’t work at a furious pace. I have a great life and I see everything differently now,” she said.

“I know that shooting film after film doesn’t make you happy, and I’ve never been happier with Chris and the children.”

But the wife of Coldplay frontamn Chris Martin hints that she might consider a comeback once the couple’s two children, daughter Apple, 3 and 21-month-old son Moses grow up.

“I will do more films now that Apple and Moses are a little bit older,” she adds to Britain’s Now Magazine.

Paltrow, who was recently rushed into hospital by Martin after suffering a ‘gastric’ realted illness also revealed that she no longer yearns for a perfect figure, adding: “I’m definitely less interested in all that stuff than I used to be, but I still believe in eating whole organic foods.”
