SHOCKING footage has emerged showing the tragic actor Heath Ledger partying with strangers at a drugs fueled Hollywood party.
In the video, which was shown on US shows The Insider and Entertainment Tonight, the 28-year-old ‘Brokeback Mountain’ star can be seen talking to the men, who are snorting cocaine.
The grainy footage was apparently shot at the Chateau Marmont hotel on January 2006, and Ledger can be heard talking to the men about his then-three-month-old daughter Matilda.
And while Ledger was partying, his then-girlfriend, ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star Michelle Williams was upstairs with their baby Matilda in a separate room.
At one point, he can be heard saying: “I’m going to get serious s**t from my girlfriend. We had a baby three months ago…
“I shouldn’t be here at all.”
Ledger – who was found dead in his New York City apartment on the afternoon of January 22 this year, cannot be seen taking drugs in the footage – the full uncut videotape is due to be aired on US TV today.
Meanwhile, a club owner has sensationally claimed that he used to supply cocaine to Ledger.
American John-Bruce Shoemaker, 45, told a U.S. magazine that Heath was a heavy user of hard drugs while filming in Prague on two different occasions.
And he insisted: “I supplied him with cocaine and we did it together.”
His explosive claims to the National Enquirer in the U.S. come as toxicology reports are still due to reveal if drugs played a part in the Brokeback Mountain star’s death.
He insists the star once confided in him: ‘If I’m not careful, this stuff will kill me.’
And Shoemaker has no doubts that it must have played a part in the star’s death in his Manhattan apartment.
“I feel 100 percent certain that Heath’s lifestyle was connected to his untimely death,” he told the National Enquirer.
Shoemaker says he got to know Heath – and his party habits – while the star was in Prague on two occasions, in 2000 to film ‘A Knight’s Tale’ and then 2003 for ‘The Brothers Grimm’.
“Heath was in my club practically every night for months,” he insists. “There were lots of beautiful girls in my club but he ignored them all. He was interested only in drugs.”
Most alarmingly he says the passing years brought about a noticeable change in how hard he was using drugs – and also in his personality. “The first time, in 2000, he would snort about half-a-gram a day,” shoemaker insisted.

DON’T DO DRUGS, YOUNG, TONS OF MONEY. WHAT A WAY TO GO.

Whatever happened to the days when we paid respect to people that passed away? Seriously. Remove this article. It’s nothing more that hearsay and being that it’s 2 years old… what’s the effing point? You are being so disrespectful to his grieving family and friends. Even if he did have the occasional line of coke and joint. Big deal! Concentrate on the real killers in this world – obesity and alcoholism. None of us are angels.

it makes me sick to see this. this shoemaker guy obviously wants to get some publicity out of this tragedy. so he may have smoked a few joints… millions of people do that every day! stop this heinous speculation, it does not make you look like good people at all. this “shocking” footage should not be on the web at all out of respect for his family. but i doubt any of you people know what respect means anyway.

I find it very sad tht this tape only surfaces after Heath has died, Why not before when he was alive..oh yeah it wasn’t news worthy then. this is in such poor taste, let the man have the rest he so longed for in life and leave him alone! And I can’t believe Entertainment Tonight is going to show the video on their telecast tonight, it is such poor taste, I thought they were one of the better celebrity shows out there.

Right, he MAY have taken drugs. He MAY have had an addiction to alocohol, drugs etc etc etc. NOBODY WILL EVER KNOW FOR SURE, it’s all just speculation – while at the heart of all of this is a family who is grieving for their son, father, partner (whether ex or not), friend, colleague and an idol to many other people throughout the world. When will the speculation and apparent attempt as detroying his reputation end?!? The man has died, let him Rest in Peace in a manner that preserves his dignity and the privacy and respect of his family and friends. His passing is untimely, and so very unfair… Like so many, I absolutely loved Heath Ledger and will continue to admire and respect his work – but the media now needs to leave well enough alone and stop with all of this – LET HIS FAMILY GRIEVE WITHOUT FEAR OF SO MUCH RUBBISH HITTING THE FRONT PAGES.

I think that it is very sad that they can’t just leave him alone.. Why can’t they think about his family.. Well maybe they put crap like this for money..Everyonehas problems everyone.. Who care that he so called had a drug problem.. But i think that it is so wrong to say that is she would have stayed then he wouldn’t have died.. It is not her fault that he died.. I think that everyone always needs to blame someone.. It just isn’t right.. Heith had such talent.. He could pull off any part.. He was wonderful to watch on the screen.. I pray for his daughter and family.. Rest in peace heith..

I am sure that half the people that are reporting on this video do drugs. Or more than half. Plz. Hollywood is full of drugs. Pat O’Brien says, “Lara! Quit hogging the coke. I’m on next. I’m showing the video of Heath Ledger at the drug party. Oh Lara, exploiting people’s death while hyped up on drugs is soo much fun.”
