I'm the type of person to go 1000% at something if I really, really want it. I was surfing and saw the ad and said, 'what the hell... lets see what this is all about.' So I created an account and after about a week I was totally sucked in. Although now I've wasted a couple hundred bucks, have the hottest avitar in SL by my standards, and an Amazing wardwrobe on top of that, you just can't live in a virtual reality. Life is here and now around us! Also, it got to the point that if my baby cried or if my husband needed something, I was irritated that I had to stop whatever I was doing in SL to take care of them! How F'ed up is that?!?! But you know what I noticed first and foremost? That second life, really, is completely evil. I knew it before I even decided to really get into it. I mean, look at the hand with they eye. Look at all the baphemets and pentagrams and Egyption themed places and random heiroglyphs everywhere. In SL, you can be a stripper... a prostitute (escort)... a vampire... a warewolf... you can buy, sell, and all sorts of things. THINGS YOU CAN'T DO IN SL---> Feed poor kids, Be an astronaut, Fly a plane, Be a policeman, Firefighter, cowboy, or anything else that is good, true or honorable. Who knows what Linden Labs spends all their money on from the sale of Lindens, but it can't be good. Wake up people!!! The only reason you find such happiness in this virtual world is because you're in complete control of every situation you confront in the virtual world you don't have to face the consequences of your actions because you're able to change the scenarios by a flick of the finger.
