Cheryl Cole calls Victoria Beckham twice
Devastated Cheryl Cole has turned to fellow WAG Victoria Beckham following her marriage crisis.
The heartbroken Girls Aloud singer, 24, phoned Victoria twice this past week following shock revelations that her footballer husband Ashley Cole had been cheating on her with another woman.
It was revealed last week that the Girls Aloud singer vowed to stand by the Chelsea and England star despite his drunken night of shame with blonde hairdresser Aimee Walton.
Posh famously stood by her husband David in 2004 after his former PA Rebecca Loos claimed that he had been unfaithful.
“Victoria has strong views on this situation but feels she’s in a good position to help Cheryl through it,” a source told Britain’s News of the World newspaper. “She told her she has to be honest with herself and if she believes she can save the marriage to do everything to make that happen.
“She was clear that Cheryl should not bury herself away. She told her to get her hair done, put on some expensive make-up and buy an amazing new outfit to get out and face the world.”
It’s going to be tough a time for Cheryl, who had a dramatic showdown with Ashley on the phone on Wednesday night. She sobbed: “I can’t go on—give me a reason to stay with you.”
Ashley replied: “Because I love you. It was a mistake. I was drunk.”
Cheryl is reportedly so stressed - her hair has begun to fall out. The source added: “She’s hardly eating anything either. She feels so betrayed. She’s a broken woman.”
And the singer’s bandmates are urging their pal to dump her cheating hubby. “They think she’ll be better off without him,” adds the source. “Victoria’s advice is opposite to the girls. It’ll be interesting to see whose she takes.”

Why is everyone so unkind to Victoria? What do we know about her? I personally think that the fact that she stayed by David when he cheated is a great example to this world of high divorce rates. And as for Cheryl, no-one’s telling her she has no self-respect for staying with Ashley. I wonder why? *prejudice*. Victoria has not carved a career out of her marriage. She got nine number one hits working with the spice girls and four top ten singles by herself. And had she met David when she was notching up those hits? Not at first, no.
Victoria Beckham is a sad attention seeking Beckham branded money hungry doormat. She has no self respect by staying with a man who clearly cheated on her several times. Cheryl on the other hand has slagged off other people from her perfect ivory tour & when you do this you have a longer way to fall when things go wrong.

Victoria’s advice is good for herself, but Cheryl isn’t Victoria. VB’s entire life is based on being David Beckham’s wife. Cheryl has an entire life outside of her marriage – she’s a full and solid person. Cheryl would be miserable with an unfaithful man. Victoria on the other hand is almost worshipful of her husband – she’s made a bloody career out of “being David Beckham’s wife”. And now the poor sod has gone and inked a “representation” of VB on his arm – he’ll never be rid of her now. Idiot he is.
