Heather Mills throws party to celebrate divorce settlement

Heather Mills, the estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney threw an extravagant party to celebrate her $110 million divorce settlement last night.

Mucca, who is set to make her sixth appearance in London’s High Court later today, reportedly decided to toast her triumph after Paul caved into her demands on Friday.

A source said:”The party is a big thank you to all the people who stuck by her. It is also a final dig at Paul – who spent months telling her she wouldn’t get his money. He was optimistic the payout would be low and this settlement would have hit him hard.”

Today’s hearing wills see Mills, 40, and McCartney, 65, thrash out the finer points of the divorce agreement before Judge Mr. Justice Bennett approves the deal.

“Heather is over the moon. The deal is as good as done,” said a source close to the former porn star.

Paul is reportedly set to give Heather a $40 million cash pay out, along with a further $5 million annually until their 4-year-old daughter Beatrice turns 18.

Paul has agreed to settle her $4 million legal bill and her $4.4 million overdraft.

Heather – Paul’s second wife – has already been given $4 million in cash as an interim payment.

In return, Heather must not discuss details about her relationship with Paul or his family, or release the video diary she made following their split in May 2006.

Heather will not receive any of Paul’s properties and will not be entitled to anything when the musician – who is worth an estimated $1.6bn million – dies.

Meanwhile, Heather’s manicurist Kerry Newman has revealed the animal rights campaigner has been ordering staff to check the value of Paul’s art, furniture and Beatles memorabilia.

Kerry said: “Heather is obsessed with Paul and his money. She thinks he is hiding how much he is really worth.”

Kerry also claims Heather blames Paul for the split and says he begged her to take him back.

She added to Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper: “She said his drinking drove them apart, he used to be abusive to her. She told me that right up until the divorce, Paul would come round late at night and say, ‘Look what you are missing.’ “

I think the problem we are not seeing in the McCartney divorce is the male leadership role. If Paul wants things done in a certain way, then he needs to pursue it. Heather can scream and cry all she wants, but it won’t get her to the man. She needs to let Paul decide what he wants to do, and she needs to go along with it.

It is something to marvel, that Heather is so attractive and voted one of the most sexy women in the Unitited Kingdom of Great Britain. Sir Paul must have fell deeply in love with her, as have all the suitors prior to Himself. Heather really didn’t deserve all the public humiliation, but then again we often get from the public either adoration or hatred. She married and bagged her cute Beatle, and sufferred the consequences as did Princess Diana of a loveless marriage. I am not sure that she lost much in this marriage, and Paul gained a priceless child Beatrice. I hope the victory party assures her of success and she can go on in her life raising her child as a great parent. She lives in a modern sense, and hopefully she will be able to adjust with her new role as a wealthy single parent. I wish Paul McCartney would have been looking to the heart as he chose a bride. Maybe he felt just as keen when he married Linda?

I was just summing this entire marriage up in a nut shell. It says in the article that Paul wanted her back, and that he came around at night and said to Heather, see what you’re missing. It means a lot to someone that you are trying to get, and Heather just missed the opportunity. I’d say that Paul is my first choice of a husband, and she should just quit trying to outdo him. It is only because he is so cute,popular,great, fantastic, exciting, wonderful, etc., that she is even read about. It could have been him and Linda till the end of their life, and Heather would have been an unknow person.

I think that Paul is really worried that Heather will destroy him. He knows that Linda and all Heaven is there for him, but sometimes evil reflects too much of its ugly horns. What McCartney has now is memories of Lin and him bautiful children, public adoration, and money,fame,fortune and finding another “Lin” who would be deserving of him. He’s dated tons of mega beauties so far, so why in Heaven’s name doesn’t he just let Heather’s life be her own. I am sure their are other gals like Lin out there who love him, so why I am wondering does he want a woman who hates him. It puzzles me, and like all celebrities, Paul must grow up and except a new gal and go on with it.

Some men are romantic and truely love a woman as Paul formerly with Linda McCartney. When Heather entered his life, he wanted to offer everybit of himself and assets to her, but she wanted more, I believe. Maybe some marriages are made in Heaven, and others in Hell. I agree that Paul jumped at the romance with Heather so quickly after Linda’s death. I wonder about his grieving, well anyway he is now thinking more about her than Miss Mills. Sometimes narcistic personalities have no realization of boundary. With Heather and Paul we have two very strong personalities, and I am wondering what kind of personality Linda had that worked in the McCartney marriage. I am sure that Heather accused Paul of beating up Linda, and their were the Linda tapes which Paul bought for $200,000. Yet, the McCartney children never said that the mom was unhappy with the Dad, so it seems strange in a tight casual celebrity family that Linda independence. Heather was, and is today miserable and does not want to be without the green that goes with divorce.
