Naomi Campbell allegedly showed off her famous temper when news of her Brazilian hospitalization leaked out, according to U.S reports.
The British supermodel was rushed into surgery at the hospital in Sao Paulo to have a cyst removed. And she was reportedly furious when news of her treatment became public knowledge – and allegedly let staff at Sirio Libanes Hospital know about it.
“Naomi was in an absolute fury that word had gotten out,” an insider told the National Enquirer magazine. “She wanted to keep the whole thing secret and when it broke, she blamed the hospital and took it out on everyone around her.
“The female nurse who brought her breakfast one day left the room in tears after Naomi cursed her out.”
Campbell, 37, reportedly only allowed two doctors and her assistant into the room, and posted a security guard outside the door. And Naomi’s fiery reputation kept the hospital staff on their toes.
“Several hospital employees said, only half-joking, that they were afraid she might throw her BlackBerry at them.”
Campbell famously had to do five-days community service in New York for throwing a phone at her maid in her Park Avenue apartment over a missing pair of jeans.
