What were lovelorn actors Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson talking about during a beach stroll in Miami?
Both have been unlucky in love lately so it’s no surprise the sexy A-list pair found plenty to chat about, maybe giving each other a shoulder to cry on.
Former Friends’ star Aniston has struggled to find romance after splitting with Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, enduring a string of failed relationships.
Her rebound fling with actor Vince Vaughn crashed and burned, while her dalliance with Essex builder-turned-model Paul Sculfor never really got off the ground. And Wilson is rumoured to be single again after his break-up with ‘You, Me and Dupree’ co-star Kate Hudson last year.
So maybe they were off-loading their troubles as they took a leisurely walk in Miami, while doing test shots for their new movie Marley & Me.
It was Wilson’s first day back at work after his suicide attempt seven months ago. Shooting is due to begin next week and last for a month.
“They were walking along chatting and reading from their scripts,” said an onlooker. “They are friends outside work and obviously know each other quite well.
“It was good to see Owen back to form too, he looked to be fully recovered.”
In the new flick, Aniston and Wilson play a married couple adopting a Labrador to give them a taste of parenthood before having babies. But the pet dog turns out to be a hyperactive handful.
Earlier this week, the co-stars, both 39, enjoyed an intimate dinner date with Kate Hudson and Eric Dane, who plays Dr McSteamy in Grey’s Anatomy, and is also signed up to appear in Marley & Me.
Unlucky in love Aniston was said to have been freshly devastated at being snubbed by her ex Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie at a recent Los Angeles party to share their new baby news elsewhere.
The three members of the famous Hollywood love triangle were meant to meet at a party on the eve of the Oscars, but Pitt and Jolie failed to appear, according to one US magazine.
Meanwhile, Hudson, 28, was in Miami over the weekend for the Miami International Film Festival and hooked up with Wilson on two consecutive nights.
The on-off couple, who broke up last June, went to great lengths to avoid being spotted possibly rekindling their romance.
Arriving separately on Monday evening, they dined with their A-list pals at the ultra-exclusive Mandarin Oriental hotel, on a terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay. But the previous night, the former lovers enjoyed a secret rendezvous at a multi-million mansion on Miami Beach’s luxurious Star Island.
Hudson – daughter of actress Goldie Hawn – was also promoting her directorial debut, the short film Cutlass, at the Miami International Film Festival.
After jetting in on Saturday, she was joined by fellow screen stars Demi Moore and Marisa Tomei for a girls’ night out that night, while Wilson had dinner and drinks with a male friend at Nobu restaurant.
Hudson also scotched rumours of a pregnancy during her stay, showing off an impressive flat stomach, as well as a pert bottom, in an itsy-bitsy red bikini poolside.
