Whoopi Goldberg blew her sick Ghost co-star Patrick Swayze a kiss as she discussed his cancer diagnosis on U.S TV.
Goldberg sent love to her ‘friend’ Swayze, calling him ‘a man I adore’ during Thursday’s edition of The View.
Swayze, 55, has confirmed he is battling pancreatic cancer, a disease from which few recover.
“When I won my Academy Award the only person I really thanked was Patrick … because of how he said, ‘I’m not making this movie unless you put Whoopi Goldberg in it,’” Goldberg said.
And looking straight into the camera, Goldberg said: “Baby, as always, we want you to know, we want you to feel better. We’ll talk soon, I hope.”
Goldberg won an Oscar for her role in 1990s hit movie Ghost, in which she played the psychic Oda Mae Brown.
