David Walliams embarks on charity swim

David Walliams will risk his life in a charity swim from Spain to Morocco.
The star of Little Britain has donned his swimming cap and goggles for a second time to join Olympic rower James Cracknell in the 12-mile swim for Sport Relief.
Two years ago he swam across the English Channel for the same cause, but this time he will have to dodge Killer Whales.
Cracknell’s wife Beverley Turner, who was there to wave the pair off, told morning show GMTV: “He’s nervous because swimming isn’t his strongest discipline. There are problems out there.
“You drive into Tarifa and one of the first signs you see is an advert for Killer Whale watching which slightly unnerved all of us.”
Before the swim Cracknell, 35, rowed across the Channel and cycled 1,395 miles to the swim’s starting point.
The challenge, which starts in Tarifa, Spain and crosses the Strait of Gibraltar, is expected to take five hours.
