Jordan’s sudden dramatic weight loss is down to her desire to be a size 0 – like her arch-rival Victoria Beckham, it has been claimed.
The busty glamor model, real name Katie Price, 29, has reportedly told pals she’s desperate to emulate Posh Spice’s sophisticated and slimline look – and has been rowing with her husband Peter Andre over his ballooning weight.
A source close to the lads mag favorite – who’s desperate to rival the ‘Posh and Becks’ brand – said: “Kate’s told Pete and their pals that she and Posh are alike in many ways already – they’re both mums-of-three and successful business women who have a brand to promote.
“Now Katie wants to ditch her curves to be more like Posh.
Even though Katie claims to binge on fast food & takeaways, she has been shedding weight at an alarming rate while recovering from her $86,000 December makeover – which included breast reduction.
Price admitted that her breast reduction didn’t go as well as she had hoped, saying: “I’m disappointed. They hang too low when I’m standing up and it’s really bad when I’m lying down. I’ve also got indents – there’s excess skin.”
Katie has now planned another breast operation – but has been warned she could lose sensation in her nipples.
Katie was recently seen out on the town celebrating Pete’s 35th birthday wearing a turquoise dress – which highlighted the saggy skin around her knees – this, say medical experts, could be caused by too much liposuction.
“The skin needs some fat underneath it to support it,” cosmetic surgeon Alex Karidis tells Britain’s Closer magazine, “so if too much fat is sucked away the skin can crinkle and go saggy. Rapid weight loss can make the wrinkled skin worse.”
Katie’s quest for a more slimline figure is also having a devastating affect on her marriage to former singer Pete, who has reportedly been telling pals her behavior sends a “bad message” to her young fans.
He allegedly said: “I love Katie for her sexy curves – now she’s just up and down, like a boy with balloons stuck to her front.”
Another source – who backs-up claims the couple’s marriage is coming under strain – said: “Katie is totally driven by money and success and doesn’t always stop to consider the consequences of her actions.”
