Justin TimberlakeSinger Justin Timberlake has teamed up with Reveille to produce an American adaptation of the hit Peruvian comedy “My Problem With Women” for NBC, it has been revealed.

The former *NSYNC star will reportedly co-produce the show alongside U.K.-based Power and Frecuencia Latina International.

The show follows the adventures of Jose, a thirty something bachelor who begins seeing a therapist in an attempt to understand why all of his romantic relationships fail.

“I am very excited to be collaborating with Reveille to bring this hugely successful format to NBC,” Timberlake said.

The sitcom, which has received a script commitment by NBC, is based on the Peruvian show “Mi Problema con las Mujeres,” which launched in July, and has already been syndicated to 20 countries.

Timberlake, 27, is said to have joined the project after being approached by Reveille, the production company behind the U.S. adaptations of foreign scripted shows including The Office and Ugly Betty.

Reville had been looking to collaborate on a series with the Sexy Back singer for several years.

“We think he is the best artists in the world across different platforms, and we want to tap his creative energy and storytelling abilities,” said Reveille’s Howard T. Owens.
