Troubled Britney Spears has turned to the FBI through fears she has a deranged STALKER, according to U.S. reports.
The pop star, who has been publicly struggling with mental health problems, claims to have had a string of menacing letters.
The creepy missives reportedly describe “how to bomb” and include “weird gibberish” about the Middle East and Israel, according to the reports.
The star’s security team – beefed up after her recent troubles that saw her hospitalized twice – have reportedly handed all the letters and packages over to the police ad FBI.
“A lot of it was disturbing stalker kind of stuff,” a source said. “But to be safe her security team is turning it all over to the police and FBI.”
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed that they have “been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months”, according to PageSix.com.
An FBI spokesperson says the bureau does not comment on ongoing investigations.

Poor Brittany – I can’t believe all the things that she has encountered in the last year. I feel so bad for her. Between her custody battle with Kevin (whom I despise), and her mental issues, it could make anyone go over the edge. I don’t think that any celebrity has had more notriety than her. Between the paparazzi, and people saying all kinds of negative things about her, it is just disgraceful. Kevin and his despicable lawyer have also made Brittany’s life a nightmare. She should have been able to see her children, once a week no matter what the circumstances are. I worked in a methadone maintenance treatment program for many years. I was one of many counselors. If a patient had an ACS case (that is what children services is called in the Bronx),the counselor would work with the worker. If the children were removed temporarily, the patient would see their children weekly at the agency involved. I really don’t understand this judge. In my opinion he seems to favor Kevin. I wish Brittany only the best – By Brittany not seeing her children, THE CHILDREN ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE SUFFERED!!!!!!
