Sexy chef Jean-Christophe Novelli taught himself English to chat up girls he has revealed.

The smooth talking Frenchman said the English language was a huge hit with teenage girls in the small village he grew up in.

He said: “When I was a kid I remember speaking in English to attract the girls.

“I was absolutely useless but I knew if you spoke the English language you would pull more easily,” he said on BBC’s Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.
