Troubled Britney Spears gets animated in her new music video.
In the video for new single ‘Break the Ice,’ an animated Spears works her way through a futuristic world.
“Since Britney has been otherwise occupied – this was a creative and fun way to do her next video,” said a source close to the pop wreck.
The unorthodox shoot was the Gimme More singer’s own idea, reports British newspaper The Sun. Spears reportedly told label bosses she wanted a cartoon version of her celebrated Toxic clip.
Meanwhile, Britney, 26, is scheduled to play a dorky receptionist on the March 24 episode of CBS’ How I Met Your Mother.
“Britney’s not playing a version of herself,” Mother creator Craig Thomas said. “I think that’s part of what appealed to her.”
