His movies are either forgettable or he somehow manages to make them seem trivial by appearing in them, I think. Example: Spielberg miscasting him in Minority Report. Cost the movie its success. The problem with being good looking is that, all too often, it's used as a substitute for actual engaging performance. In my opinion he's too self-conscious. As if he's saying, "Look at me, I'm Colin Farrell, and I'm ACTING." I'd like to like him, but I find myself never believing in his characters. Colin Farrell is a lightweight.
