Ashley Alexandra Dupre abused cocaine

Ashley Alexandra Dupre dove into a life of partying and drugs in the weeks before she was outed as the $1,000-an-hour prostitute that brought-down one of America’s most powerful men, Eliot Spitzer, her friends said Friday.
Dupre, 22, admitted on her MySpace page that she had used drugs in the past, but insisted she had stopped – a claim several of her friends now claim is a blatant lie.
“Yes, I have seen her do cocaine,” said one of her friends, who asked to remain anonymous. “It was actually really hard to talk to her during the night because she was . . . on coke.”
“I’d watch her go through multiple bags [of cocaine] in a single evening,” another friend who met Dupre at a nightclub tells the New York Daily News. “She’d lock herself in a stall in the bathroom and snort away.”
Dupre – who apparently tattooed herself with reminders not to abuse drugs – used the name Kristen for her work as a call girl for the Emperors Club VIP prostitution ring that sent her to Eliot Spitzer’s Washington hotel room.
Pals claim that Ashley’s drug use intensified in recent weeks and she even sought out a friend for advice just days before the Spitzer scandal broke.
Dupre began selling herself for money at the age of 19 after she met Jason Itzler, the self-proclaimed “King of All Pimps,” and was often seen partying at the city’s exclusive clubs, usually on the arms of wealthy businessmen and party promoters.
“When I met her, [Ashley] seemed like a very determined girl, but I think she wanted to be a woman too fast,” said Christopher Malta, who once worked with Dupre at the Chelsea club Viscaya. “She was in the city and seeing everything that was going on, and she wanted a piece of it.”
Meanwhile, Dupre is reportedly set to make millions from the Spitzer scandal – if she decides to come out and cash in on her notoriety.
Top-shelf magazines Penthouse and Hustler have already made it clear they want a raunchy photoshoot with the hooker.
Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt said: “We will approach her.
“She’s young. She’s pretty. She’s a model; we’d love to do business with her.”
Penthouse Magazine group president and publisher Diane Silberstein said she would also “love to have her in the magazine” and would consider offering her a cover shot.
“She sounds like a very interesting and talented young woman, and I’m sure she has a great story to tell,” Silberstein said. “We promise to make it worth her while.”
