I think it might be a great idea for the producer of this film to do a documentary of the chassidm , what a closed and controled community it is that thay are so many of us that wald liked to do what avrumi did , just most of us don?t gat the balls ( I know it my self ) he got , so we keep on serpresing , and shuve our feelings and emotins under the rug trying to play for the world and for ourselves that we are so happy how we are , wake up guys 21 century , we are to exposed to everything start living in state of reality , we can?t bluff any one , u be surprised how the world will be in disbelive that in todays day in the most madern seciety in the hart of the industrial world peple are so sheltered and not able to do what thay really want , freedom of speech, or even living the way a lot of us are wishing that day will some day arivse

A school has the right to set rules jewish schools don’t allow tv acting shouldn’t even be a question he made a mistake in thinking that nobody would find out and was very smart to back out so he could keep his kids in the same school with all there friends instead of trying to earn a extra buck

I think there is nothing wrong with him acting in the film.
The problem is that the rabbis are scared that he will make a honest livening
If it would be me I would go ahead with the film & put my kids in a school where he would have no problem

It is a shame that the Chassidic community doesnt let him act and wants to kick him out of the community. I always thought it would be interesting to watch a real hassidic jew act in a movie. It does not say anywhere in the torah that a person is not allowed to act in a movie. I dont think anyone should live for anybody else. live for yourself and follow your dreams!

Whatever your affiliation you should be proud of Abe, Avrumi, whatever, this guy is willing to stand for what he believes in, your personal choices are for you to make, jewish orthodox, chasidic, catholic or whatever you choose should be something that you feel passionatly about to poster 1…. we all have our weaknesses, Poster 2. if you dont like your life do something about it but dont take it out on a community its YOUR choice. Every community has a right to set standards, you dont like it nothing is keeping you from leaving.
