Britney Spears’ pal Sam Lutfi is not happy with the restraining order filed against him.
The pop princess’ self-professed manager has filed court papers saying he objects to a commissioner holding hearings on the stay-away order.
“Please take notice that Osama ‘Sam’ Lutfi will not stipulate to the above referenced case being heard by Reva Goetz,” the documents state. They are signed by Lutfi himself.
The two-page court document was signed on Wednesday last week and filed on Friday – but Lutfi needs to appear at court in person if he wishes to challenge the restraining order.
The papers did not reach the courtroom in time for Monday’s hearing, which saw the order extended until April 16.
Lutfi failed to show up for the hearing, in which Britney’s father Jamie Spears told Commissioner Goetz he wished to keep his daughter’s pal away.
The restraining order, which was put in place by Jamie Spears – Britney’s conservator, instructs Lutfi to stay at least 250 yards away from the pop princess and her home.
It was implemented during the time Britney was on a psychiatric hold at UCLA Medical Center and was said to have angered both Lutfi and Britney.
The singer’s mother Lynne Spears alleged Lutfi drugged her daughter and was in control of her finances.
LA Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said Lutfi would need to appear in court on April 16 if he wanted to challenge the restraining order.
