Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears has been seen sporting a new engagement ring from fiancé Casey Aldridge.

The 16-year-old Zoey 101 star — the sister of Britney Spears — has been showing off her sparkling new band to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi, a source close to the family says.

“She’s got an engagement ring,” the source tells People.com. “She’s been showing it off, talking about it.”

Jamie Lynn and Casey, 18, are expecting their first child this summer. A wedding date for the couple has not yet been confirmed.

And even though Jamie Lynn’s life is being invaded by the paparazzi, the teen star is handling the pressures of fame and impending motherhood much better than her Toxic star sister, sources say.

“[Jamie] has such a level head on her,” a source tells OK! magazine. “She is handling this situation with a maturity that is surprising even her own family.”

Earlier this month, Jamie Lynn watched a local basketball game, and a few days later enjoyed coffee with girlfriend, and the following week, she headed to Connie’s Jewelry & Gifts for a few trinkets.

“She’s behaving like a pretty normal teen,” adds the source. “She’s not even worried about how much weight she puts on or doing any special exercises.

“At her age, her body will bounce right back and she knows it.”
