Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney is writing a coffee table book about his beloved late wife Linda.
Paul, 65, will reportedly “share lots of intimate moments” about his life with Linda — who died of breast cancer in 1998.
Paul this week met publishers in London to discuss the project. He told friends: “I’m really up for it.”
The book will contain hundreds of photos taken by Linda.
A source said: “Sir Paul is really excited.”
A friend of Paul’s added: “Times have been hard for him recently with the divorce from Heather.
“He’s delighted he can focus his mind on something else.
“He sees this as a special tribute to Linda’s memory.”

I know that Paul was devastated by the loss of his wife, rightfully so. However, I’m getting a bit tired of hearing about “Saint” Linda now. Certainly she was a good wife and mother, but millions of other women are too. If the DVD Wingspan, the Concert for Linda and the new photo gallery show wasn’t cathartic enough for him a book isn’t going to help. We all liked Linda, and mourned her loss, but it’s time for all of us to move on, including Paul. He is obviously smarting big time from his recent nasty divorce and he is trying to restore his image and to detract from more potential slurs from Heather by looking like a loyal husband and it’s being OVERDONE. Please Paul – No More! You need to do your mourning in private now.

so he should– it’ll be great theraphy for him & to remind him what truly mattered– not this debacle he calls his second but very short stint f marriage– in hindsight– won’t mean a damn in his very long rich life & career.
