Nicole Richie and beau Joel Madden have issued their support to presidential candidate Barack Obama.
The couple, along with newborn daughter Harlow, attended the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Palm Springs this past weekend, where Madden sported an Obama T-shirt.
Asked if they’re backing the Democrat, Joel said, “Yes, we are.”
“He is a good man, he is cool,” Madden added. “He is just a great person overall.”
Obama’s other celebrity supporters include: Oprah Winfrey; Michael Moore; George Clooney; and Scarlett Johansson.

i love how the title says ‘nicole supports obama’ but the article only mentions joel talking about him. LOL.

And we should care about Nicole’s support why? Are there any idiots out there who are going to base their vote on the fact that Nicole Richie thinks Obama is “cool”???
