Nicole Richie and beau Joel Madden have issued their support to presidential candidate Barack Obama.
The couple, along with newborn daughter Harlow, attended the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Palm Springs this past weekend, where Madden sported an Obama T-shirt.
Asked if they’re backing the Democrat, Joel said, “Yes, we are.”
“He is a good man, he is cool,” Madden added. “He is just a great person overall.”
Obama’s other celebrity supporters include: Oprah Winfrey; Michael Moore; George Clooney; and Scarlett Johansson.
