Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse are reportedly set to release a duet as a single.

According to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, Doherty’s Babyshambles bandmate, Mik Whitnall, has held a series of songwriting sessions with the Grammy Award winning ‘Rehab’ singer in preparation for a single release this summer.

The report claims that the single will also feature on the next Babyshambles album, and that Doherty — who was recently released from a London jail — said: “Mick and Amy have a great relationship. They have been working on material while I was in prison.

“When I came out I went straight to the recording studio. I just want to get going.”
