Big Band Arranger Finegan Dies

Respected big band arranger BILL FINEGAN has died from pneumonia complications in Connecticut.

The 91-year-old collaborated with Tommy Dorsey and Glenn Miller, creating more than 300 hits between 1938 and 1942.

Finegan also mentored Nelson Riddle, who became Frank Sinatra’s arranger.
