Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan has blasted Cheryl Cole over her appointment as a judge on X Factor.
It was last week confirmed that Girls Aloud singer Cheryl would replace Sharon Osbourne on the ITV talent show in a £250,000 ($500k) deal, but Keisha clearly wasn’t impressed.
When asked if she thought her Girls Aloud rival deserved her new job, Keisha said, “Actually, I would have preferred Boy George.
“He has got so much more experience, and so many more years behind him.
“I think he would have been much better as the judge.”
And Keisha’s Sugababes bandmate Amelle Berrabah agreed, saying, “Yeah, Boy George has generations more on her.
“Not that Cheryl hasn’t got any experience, but someone who has been going for as long as he has should have been given a chance.”
