Acting legend MORGAN FREEMAN is puzzled by reports he’s splitting from his wife of 24 years, after denying allegations of their alleged impending divorce.
Freeman, 71, and his wife Myrna – who share a home in rural Mississippi – were rumoured to have consulted a divorce lawyer after reports alleged the actor was unfaithful.
But Freeman was shocked to hear reports of his rumoured break-up from his wife when quizzed about his marital status at an event last week (26Jun08).
He insisted, “I don’t know anything about that (filing for divorce).”
A spokesperson for the Wanted star added: “We officially have no comment.”
Freeman married Myrna – his second wife – in June 1984. The actor also shares two children with his first wife of 12 years, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw.
