Timberlake Dodges Brawl

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE found himself at the centre of a brawl on Friday (05Sep08) after unruly clubgoers reportedly tried to attack his bodyguard.

The SexyBack singer was said to be celebrating with a host of A-list stars after the New York Fashion Rocks event when a female fan attempted to sneak into the VIP area of the Rainbow Bar to snap a photo of Timberlake.

The guard then tried to take the camera phone off the woman, prompting her friends to interfere and sparking a brawl.

A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "It was mayhem. Justin narrowly missed being punched in the face when a fan tried to take a photo of him on her camera, and his minder kicked off, screaming at the girl and snatching the camera off her to delete the pic.

"A huge commotion broke out with the fan's male pals who tried to protect her. Fists were flying and JT was desperately trying to get out of the way.

"Mariah, Beyonce and her sister Solange were petrified, not to mention Rihanna and Chris Brown who also ducked for cover as their security teams shielded them from the flying glass."
