Naomi’s TV search for someone new to chuck a phone at!

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is to star in an MTV reality show which shows her searching for a new PA.

The supermodel is determined to rid of herself of her temperamental persona with personal assistants.

A source said: “Naomi is famous for her spats with staff, so the idea is to try to have some fun and capitalise on the situation. Plus, it’s TV work, which Naomi hopes will lead to acting jobs.”

Naomi’s last six assistants have quit because of her violent temper.

The catwalk beauty has been accused of assault by two previous assistants – and physical and emotional attacks by another.

Naomi, 37 – who has been forced to attend anger management classes – even reportedly threatened to throw one in front of a moving car.

Potential candidates for the challenging post need to be able to deal with Naomi’s tantrums.

The source said: “Naomi is extremely demanding and is suspicious of new people before she trusts them.”

On the plus side, the chosen PA will travel the world and enjoy a glamorous lifestyle.

“Britney will end up like Anna Nicole”

Britney Spears’ first husband Jason Alexander fears the pop superstar will end up like late actress/model Anna Nicole Smith if she doesn’t curb her wild lifestyle.

The Toxic singer – who stunned fans when she shaved off her locks last week – checked into the Promises treatment centre in Malibu, California on Wednesday night after two failed attempts in the past week to seek counselling for her ongoing problems.

And Alexander, whose brief marriage to the 25-year-old was annulled 55 hours after tying the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada in January 2004, is worried she will follow tragic Smith to an early grave if she doesn’t complete her latest spell in rehab.

He says: “It freaked me out when I saw she had shaved off her hair – that was clearly a cry for help. The pictures have become increasingly disturbing. I have never said anything about Britney and drugs before but I am very, very concerned about her. I am really worried that she will wind up like Anna Nicole Smith and be found dead.”

Alexander also thinks Spears needs to re-examine her life and go back to her Louisiana roots.

He adds: “She needs to knock herself down from the pedestal she thinks she is on and remember that she’s just an old country girl. She needs a break from Hollywood. Her problem is she doesn’t feel anyone wants her for herself – only for who she is.”

Smith died at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on February 8 at the age of 39. The cause of her death is still under investigation.

Parton’s dissatisfied with her “lack of” success

Dolly Parton craves greater career success, despite 26 number one songs, seven Grammys and 100 million record sales around the globe.

The 61-year-old is desperate to become the biggest artist the world has ever seen, as well as a successful businesswoman and screen star, this however is very unlikely to happen due to the fact that: A. She’s Crap & B. She looks like a retarded version of Michael Jackson ON ACID.

Ambitious Parton says: “There’s a whole lot of things. I wake up with new dreams every day. I want to have my own line of cosmetics and I’d like to have a weekly children’s TV show one day – and I’d love to do some more movies.

“I’ve never been the big recording star I’d love to be some day. I’ve had lots of hits off and on through the years but I’ve never had the success of other artists – one hit after another back-to-back-to-back and big hits, where every song is going to be number one.

“I’m not greedy or nothing. I just want everything. Is there something wrong with that?”  UH?

Coldplay apologise for ‘unreasonable’ ticket pricing

Coldplay have issued an apology to fans in South America after charging a staggering $160 for tickets to their concerts in Chile.

The group, currently on tour on the continent, recently discovered the exorbitant charge is over a quarter of the average monthly wage in Chile, and they’re desperate to appease furious fans.

Frontman Chris Martin has apologised on behalf of his band, maintaining they had no idea tickets had been so overpriced.

And he admits the gaffe is particularly humiliating given the group’s long-time support of campaigns to make trade fairer for developing nations.

He says: “We just found out how expensive they are and would like to say we are sorry. We didn’t know beforehand.

“The price is a little embarrassing. When you are a famous band, a lot of things happen that you don’t know about.”

Banning skinny models ‘disrimination’, says Schiffer

Catwalk beauty Claudia Schiffer is the latest celebrity to wade into the row over super-skinny models, branding plans to ban them from runways “discrimination”.

Last week, British beauty Naomi Campbell made her feelings known as she collected the Best Model accolade at the Elle Style Awards in London.

Campbell, 36, insisted it was wrong to blame the fashion industry for “a psychological disease” and refused to accept skeletal stars are the result of pressures from within the industry.

Now Schiffer has added her weight to the debate, maintaining svelte figures are not necessarily unnatural.

“It is wrong to discriminate against slim, healthy girls,” she said.

However, she concedes models with eating disorders are a big concern, adding: “Dieting is not the solution. A healthy life is.”

Johansson raises awareness in India

Hollywood beauty Scarlett Johansson is in India on an awareness-raising visit to help highlight the suffering endured by poor people in the country.

The Lost in Translation has been in India since Monday, and has toured schools and slums in New Delhi.

Ashvin Dayal, south Asian director of charity Oxfam, says: “We are delighted that Scarlett is supporting Oxfam and our work to help end global poverty.

“High-profile support helps us to raise awareness of these issues and urge governments and leaders worldwide to act.”

Madonna is so frightened boys may lead her 10-year-old daughter astray, she’s banned dates until Lourdes is 18.

The Papa Don’t Preach singer has spoken in the past about her strict parenting regime with husband Guy Ritchie, but now she’s laying down the law even more and forbidding dates until adulthood.

She says: “No boys for her (Lourdes) until she turns 18. She’s a good girl, though. She doesn’t have it easy. Late night TV, junk food and mess are not tolerated in my house.”

Lourdes is Madonna’s first child with actor/fitness instructor Carlos Leon. The pop star is also mother to her son with Ritchie, Rocco, and here shiny and new adopted Malawian tot David Banda.

Jackson confirms conversion to Islam

Pop superstar Michael Jackson has confirmed his conversion to Islam, according to reports in the Middle East.

he Arab-Israeli newspaper Panorama claims Jackson has announced the move and revealed plans to move to Bahrain, where he has bought property.

The singer’s Muslim brother Jermaine yesterday claimed the Thriller hitmaker had taken interest in the religion since he converted in 1989 – and had been considering converting himself following his acquittal on child abuse charges in 2005.

Jermaine said: “When I came back from Mecca I got him (Michael) a lot of books and he asked me lots of things about my religion and I told him that it’s peaceful and beautiful.

“He read everything and he was proud of me that I found something that would give me inner strength and peace.

“I think it is most probable that Michael will convert to Islam.

“He could do so much, just like I am trying to do. Michael and I and the word of God, we could do so much.”

Anna Nicola Smith Judge vilified as ‘weepy wacko’

Some members of the legal profession and other court-watchers are cringing over the way Judge Larry Seidlin wept – no, sobbed – on live, national TV as he announced a ruling in the dispute over where Anna Nicole Smith should be buried.

Some are accusing the brash former New York cab driver of showboating for the cameras, or worse, auditioning for his own courtroom TV show, with his one-liners, his personal asides, and his smart-alecky delivery during the six-day hearing.

They say that he let the hearing drag on way too long, that he made inappropriate jokes for a dispute over a body, that he acted as if it were all about him.

“He’s like Judge Judy’s wacky little brother,” legal analyst Jefrey Toobin quipped on CNN.

The New York Post yesterday called him a “Weepy Wacko,” while the Daily News asked, “How Low Can This Judge Go?” and referred to him as “Blubbering Seidlin.”

One of the Miami’s most celebrated defence attorneys, Roy Black, said of the circus-like scene in Seidlin’s courtroom: “I sort of think it gives circuses a bad name.”

Black said he was torn between being entertained as a spectator and being horrified as a legal professional.

“I thought he was one of the most entertaining things I had ever seen. He could be a TV judge. He could be a stand-up comic. However, I think he makes a horrible judge,” Black said. “He doesn’t follow any of the rules or procedures.”

In court, the 56-year-old Seidlin talked about his wife and divulged the minutiae of his days, mentioning his morning swim and the tuna sandwich he was having when assigned the case. Lawyers became known by their home states of “Texas” or “California.”

The hearing often became a free-for-all, with the various parties talking at the same time. On the last day of the hearing, Seidlin cut witnesses off altogether.

From the bench, he freely aired his thoughts, including “I feel for you, Mama” to Smith’s mother.

And just when everyone was ready for testimony to spill into one final day, he issued his ruling.

In the end, though, Black said he agreed with Seidlin’s tearful ruling that custody of Smith’s body go to the court-appointed lawyer representing her 5-month-old baby, Dannielynn, and he said he thought the judge’s emotions were genuine.

“I believe that he sincerely tried to do the right thing,” he said.
