Paul McCartney has decided to take to America’s Home Shopping Network (HSN) in order to help shift more copies of his new album.

The former Beatle will appear as part of a 30-minute special, which will air on TV tonight (30May07) and tomorrow (31May07) to promote Memory Almost Full, which is released next week.

The special will feature songs from the new record and footage of McCartney chatting about the stories behind the tunes.

Oddball rocker Marilyn Manson, reportedly turned down the chance to duet with rapper Eminem on one of his first hits – because he felt the song was too “misogynistic”.

The ‘Tainted Love’ singer reveals that Eminem had previously approached him with a view to collaborating on a tune, in which he boasts about killing his girlfriend.

Manson tells Spin magazine, “He asked me to sing on his first record, and I would have, except that the song he asked me to sing was… too misogynistic.

“It was the one about killing his girlfriend and putting her in a trunk. It was on a record I could listen to, but it was too over-the-top for me to associate with. It didn’t represent where I was at.

“First of all, I don’t drive. And I wouldn’t put a girl in a trunk; that’s where I keep other stuff.”

Lionel Richie’s adopted trollop of a daughter Nicole, has said that she cannot believe she has come under attack for emailing friends a joke invite to a Memorial Day party.

The reality TV star poked fun at her 2006 drink driving arrest and ongoing stories about her alleged eating disorder in the invite, and is now being asked to explain herself in the media.

But Richie is more concerned about who hacked into her private email account and leaked the confidential invite.

Appearing on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM breakfast show yesterday morning, Richie said, “You know what, it (message) rhymes… Are we really going to take an email that rhymes that seriously? “It’s a private email… to my friends, I was joking and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it… I think that it’s funny.

“It’s not like I went and posted it on some blog or something; I didn’t mean to make it public, and I have every right to say whatever I want to my friends.

“It’s not that deep… I wanted to write something that rhymes and that was funny. That’s it… I do it for every single holiday.

“I’m really confused as to why everyone is so shocked that I wrote a joking email to my friends.” Richie began the email by stating, “Celebrate our country by drinking massive amounts of beer,” adding, “There will be a scale at the front door.

No girls over 100 pounds allowed in. Start starving yourself now.”

Movie star couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have said that they’re going to decorate their kid’s bedrooms according to their country of birth.

The superstar couple, who have children all born in different continents, are set to revamp their rooms- to pay homage to their roots.

A source was quoted by English newspaper “The Daily Mirror” as saying: “Brad and Angelina want to give the kids a strong sense of their own culture while growing up in America, so they never lose the link to their past.”

Angelina adopted son Maddox, who’s now five, from a Cambodian orphanage back in 2002, and Zahara, two, from Ethiopia in 2005.

Brad became the children’s legal parent shortly after meeting the actress on the set of their movie ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’.

Dickinson, who has romanced McCartney’s rock rival Sir Mick Jagger in the past, admits she has a huge crush on the former Beatle.

“Snakes On a Plane” star Samuel L. Jackson, is set to play an evil ‘Octopus’ in a big screen adaptation of comic the book “The Spirit”.

The actor is in talks to play a super villain in the new film, which is to be directed by Frank Miller.

The movie follows the story of a young cop who is murdered on duty, but reborn as a mystery masked man called The Spirit.
Jackson will play a lab assistant who reinvents himself as The Spirit’s arch nemesis, Octopus.

Miller, who adapted the film from a Will Eisner comic book, will makes his solo directing debut – after co-directing 2005’s Sin City with Robert Rodriguez.
