Hotel Heiress Paris Hilton is pampering herself after serving a 23 day prison sentence, by vacationing in Hawaii.

The recently-freed star was spotted arriving on the islands this Thursday.

But her attempts to avoid the prying eyes of the paparazzi aren’t fooling anyone – paparazzi photographers quickly unraveled her unsophisticated disguise of a black wig and straw hat.

Hilton was released from Lynwood, California’s Century Regional Detention Center on Tuesday after being jailed for violating her probation from a drink driving arrest.

Rapper 50 Cent has responded to criticism of his performance at the recent B.E.T. Awards, claiming he “lost focus” when he bumped into a dancer on his way to center stage.

The rapper’s set at Tuesday’sawards ceremony was slated by critics and fans alike, with 50 Cent also reported to have lip-synced his way through the brief performance of his single Amusement Park.

Sources have also said that the rapper was caught out when he mimed the lyrics to the track over an instrumental version of the song, which was mistakenly played by his Dj Whoo Kidd.

50 Cent then prowled the stage waiting for the right song to cue – leaving many fans puzzled as to what was going on onstage.

But the In Da Club star – real name Curtis Jackson – insists his shambled appearance was the result of a run-in with a dancer on a trapeze as he made his way to the stage, causing him to momentarily lose concentration.

Appearing on B.E.T.’s 106 & Park show on Thursday (28Jun07), 50 explained, “It’s a disappointment, but I’ll get a chance to do it again, so I’ll feel good about it.

“Everything doesn’t quite happen the way you practice it. You see, I was hit by the aerialist and I was wibbly-wobbling coming down (onto the stage). Twenty five feet in the air, man, you fall – can’t nobody help me with that, you know what I mean? Then by the time you get down, you try and regroup to fight… the music starts, we four bars into the song, you know – I just wasn’t concentrating.”

Britney Spears claims that she was forced into rehab by her mom, manager and soon-to-be ex husband. The “Toxic” singer said she never had a drug or alcohol problem and she never should have gone to rehab. Spears reportedly did admit she had an emotional problem after the birth of her second child.

A source told TMZ that her husband Kevin Federline forced Britney into rehab by threatening to battle her in court over the custody of their two children if she did not check herself into rehab.

Spears was then believed to have suffered from post-partum depression and became emotionally unstable from going through divorce. She was further put under pressure by the media constantly following her every move.

Britney Spears and her assistant, Allie Sims, called Promises rehab center and requested her drug and alcohol test. Her rep was sent two reports which showed no alcohol or drug use at all. The first report was dated 15 days after Spears checked in. There is no report that Spears ever tested positive for drug or alcohol use.

The pop princess fired her manager and won’t speak to her mom as a result of her time in rehab. Federline is now questioning whether Spears should be taking care of there kids and has insisted that the issues be handled in a Los Angeles court where the media could film the whole process. Spears requested the issues be handled by a private judge in a private office.

“When one person in a divorce has great means and influence, and the other much less so, leaving the case in the public system makes that person more comfortable that they’ll be on a level playing field as the case is heard,” said Federline’s lawyer.
