Amy Winehouse has reportedly had an affair with a third man — Pete Doherty’s bandmate Mik Whitnal.

Whitnal, the guitarist for Pete’s band Babyshambles, has been telling pals he bedded the troubled singer — and has revealed private details of a birthmark Amy, 24, has in an “intimate” area.

A source said: “He says they’ve slept together a couple of times. He told a few people after that stuff about her and Alex Haines came out.

“It’s always supposed to have happened when they’ve been on a bender. Telling people about her birthmark is his way of proving it happened. It’s male bravado.”

Amy’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently locked up in London’s Pentonville prison accused of assault and conspiring to pervert the course of justice.

And while her husband’s been in jail, the ‘Rehab’ singer has had an affair with an American photographer called Blake; Alex Haines — her manager’s assistant; and now Mik, who is 15 years her senior and has a girlfriend.

Last night, Babyshambles manager Adrian Hunter insisted Mik and Amy were just pals.

Mariah Carey is engaged to Nick Cannon.

Citing sources close to the ‘One Sweet Day’ singer, Access Hollywood confirms the engagement.

Speculation that the two were an item began last week when Mariah was seen sporting a dazzling diamond ring on her left ring finger at the NYC premiere of her upcoming film Tennessee.

When asked at the party what he loved about Mariah, 27-year-old Nick gave a one-word answer. “Everything,” he told People magazine.

Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 – 1998.

Nick was previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007. However, the couple called off the engagement that same year.

It’ll be Nick’s first marriage.

Reps for the pair have yet to confirm the engagement.

Paula Abdul insists she just got confused on Tuesday’s American Idol when she critiqued two songs by contestant Jason Castro when he had only sung one.

Despite rumors she was drunk on the show, Paula blamed the gaffe on a change in judging.

For the first time in the 7-year history of the show, Idol judges were asked to wait to critique contestants until all five had performed, as opposed to each contestant getting feedback as soon as they’ve finished their song.

Abdul said she first heard about the change when the show went live.

“I go, ‘We have never had to do this before … Oh my God, what do we do?’” she told Ryan Seacrest during an interview on his KIIS FM radio show Wednesday.

“We were freaking out,” Abdul added. “I said, ‘We’re gonna need paper and a pen to make sure we remember what we saw’.”

When it was time to give Castro her feedback, she said, “I started looking at what I’m writing… I was reading the critique of what I was writing for Jason Castro….”

On the same page: Her notes for contestant David Cook, which she thought were for a second song Castro had performed.

“I got lost in my notes, and that is as simple as it was,” she said. “It’s so confusing.

“We were all discombobulated,” she added. “It was just crazy, that’s all.

“In seven years we’ve never had to do that. We were only following directions.”

Spencer Pratt has fired back at Jason Wahler’s claims that a Lauren Conrad sex tape never existed.

Wahler said Wednesday, “I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist. Spencer Pratt is lying again to get attention.”

To which Pratt responded, “Jason’s statement couldn’t be more transparent. Notice how he uses present tense, ‘I DO not have a sex tape… one DOES not exist.’

“We all know that it existed, that he tried to sell it and is now covering up to make himself look better,” Pratt added.

On the Tyra Banks Show Tuesday, Pratt declared, “I know for 100 percent fact it did exist – 1000%!”

Pratt’s girlfriend Heidi Montag also said the tape was “not a rumor” and said Conrad’s “ex-boyfriend was going around trying to sell it.”

Tyra Banks thinks everyone should leave Miley Cyrus alone following the controversy surrounding her recent risqué Vanity Fair photo shoot.

The model-turned-talk-show host told the ladies of The View on Wednesday: “She is a 15-year-old, and I just wish everybody would leave her alone!”

Banks, 34, said provocative photos can come with the territory when you’re a young star, and her own mother kept a close eye on her. “There were definitely jobs they would ask me to do,” she said, referring to a request for Banks to pose nude for the legendary Pirelli calendar — but her mom said no.

Miley has apologized for the photos; and Annie Leibovitz — the photographer behind the pictures — said she was sorry for any misinterpretation.

Jessica Simpson says she’s “in love” with her new beau Tony Romo — so much so, she’s written a song for him: “Back in My Old Boots.”

“He reintroduced me to myself,” Simpson says of Romo, who she recently described as her “future husband”. “I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date.

“Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again,” she adds.

Jessica was quick to dismiss critics who said her showing up at one of the football games that he lost last year jinxed his career

“Everybody takes everything out on me! But that was ludicrous,” she tells the June issue of Glamour magazine. “I don’t understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No.”

Jessica says she first laid eyes on the Dallas Cowboys quarterback while she was going through her divorce with Nick Lachey.

“My family and I were watching a Cowboys game … and — Tony would die if I told you this — but [on TV there was a story] about him,” she says. “They said his celebrity dream crush was Jessica Simpson.

“My family was like, ‘Did you just hear that?’” she goes on. “His picture came up, and I’m like, ‘He’s really cute.’ Then I heard [that I was his crush], and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’”

They met a year-and-a-half later after a pal introduced Tony to her dad, Joe Simpson.

After Tony spotted Jessica and Joe at the Country Music Awards last November, “Tony e-mailed my dad, ‘Cute date,’” Simpson reveals.

“My dad was like, ‘Look what Tony said,’ Simpson says. “I said, ‘Give him my e-mail address. We’ll see if he’s good with words.’ Then he e-mailed me, and we flirted over e-mail and on the phone.”

Ashlee Simpson and fiancé Pete Wentz are reportedly set to star in a new version of MTV show Newly Weds.

Simpson’s dad, Joe, is determined to get Pete and Ashlee to take part in version 2 of the reality TV hit because of the effect it had on the profile of his other daughter, Jessica, when she stared in it with husband Nick Lachey.

A source said: “He knows that no one cared about Jessica before her reality show, and he’s hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect.”

The pair are set to marry later this year, and already have a baby on the way, but reps for both Ashlee and Pete insist that they are not set to appear in Newlyweds.
