Brad Pitt admits he’s struggling to learn French – because his “brain cells seem to have shut down”.

The Fight Club actor – who currently lives in Berlin – is planning to move to France with partner Angelina Jolie and their six children next year.

But learning the language is proving a challenge.

Pitt tells Hello! magazine, “Ange and I are trying to learn French.

“But she’s better at it than I am. Some of my brain cells seem to have shut down, so I’m struggling. I can say ‘merci beaucoup’ and that’s about it.”

“Our seven-year-old [Maddox] rips it, man.

“He’s fantastic, so good. It’s really humiliating – but we’re really proud of him.”

According to an eyewitness, the Twilight star, 22, booed a comic who said, “Here’s my impression of Heath Ledger,” then collapsed and began faking convulsions.

Brokeback Mountain star Heath died of an accidental prescription drug overdose in January. He was 28.

“Robert and his friend went nuts yelling at him,” Us Weekly magazine quotes a source as saying. “[Pattinson screamed] f–k you! You suck!”

But Robert went unrecognized by the performing comic.

“The comic didn’t know who it was, but I’m sure he found out later!” the source said.

Christina Aguilera’s New-found Respect For The Female Body

Christina Aguilera gained “a new-found respect” for the female body after giving birth to her first child.

The Dirrty hitmaker welcomed son Max Liron in January this year.

And Aguilera was amazed at how much the female anatomy could endure during labor.

She says, “I really have a new-found respect for the female body after going through this process. I still have a way to go with losing the weight but I will start working out and boxing soon, but I’m not going to go crazy about it.”

Christina, 28 – who is married to music marketing executive Jordan Bratman – also revealed how she managed to lose her post-pregnancy pounds.

She added, “I had to really curb my love for junk food. And it’s not just about looking good. I don’t want to get heart disease or cancer. It’s important to take care of yourself – especially as a woman.”

Leonardo DiCaprio: ‘Not Winning an Oscar Doesn’t Bother Me’

Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t care that he hasn’t won an Oscar yet – because he still has “a lot to prove” to himself.

DiCaprio – who has recieved Academy Award nominations for his roles in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1994); The Aviator (2005); and Blood Diamond (2007) – insists he can cope with not winning one of the prestigious gongs because he hasn’t yet reached his full potential in the movie industry.

He says, “The truth of the matter is that I have a lot to prove to myself still as an actor. And I still have that kind of thirst to want to do a performance that I’m happy with.”

Leonardo – who reunites with his Titanic co-star Kate Winslet on new movie Revolutionary Road – also revealed he found it “interesting” to see how the British actress’ attitude towards the movie industry has changed.

He added, “It’s interesting to see her after all these years and be in a working environment with her because she’s still got that same bizarre professionalism that she had in her early 20s.

“She’s still a committed actress, she’s still fervent about making every detail of her character come alive, but now she’s way more in control of that.”

Leona Lewis to Play Mariah Carey on Broadway?

Mariah Carey wants Leona Lewis to play her in a Broadway musical about her life.

The Touch my Body hitmaker – who got wed to singer Nick Cannon in a secret ceremony earlier this year – has been in talks about a forthcoming musical with Broadway bosses for months. But she only gave the show the green light after a heart-to-heart with her hubby on their Christmas holiday in Aspen.

And Mariah, 38, is keen for Bleeding Love singer Leona to tell her life story onstage.

A source tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “Mariah’s not sure if she’ll star in it herself. If she doesn’t, names being tossed around include Vanessa Hudgens and Eva Longoria. But Mariah secretly likes the idea of Leona Lewis playing her.

“Not only is she exotic, she’s the only one who they reckon would be able to tackle Mariah’s eight-octave vocal range.”

A rep for Carey confirmed that the diva is “in talks for a Broadway musical to be made about her life in 2009.”

Nicole Richie ‘Constantly Sends Joel Madden Sexy Text Messages’

Nicole Richie can’t stop sending racy text messages.

The former Simple Life star – who welcomed her first child with boyfriend Joel Madden earlier this year – is reportedly addicted to telling the Good Charlotte rocker all her steamy bedroom fantasies when they are apart.

Nicole’s former bodyguard said, “She is a pistol who says exactly what is on her mind. When she is not with Joel, she is constantly sending sexy text messages, telling him what she is wearing and what she wants to do with him when she gets home.”

The 27-year-old adopted daughter of Lionel Richie also has another vice – splashing out on expensive clothes and shoes.

Another former bodyguard revealed, “She doesn’t like to wear anything twice, so she figures she needs to stock up. She can easily blow $2,000 a week on shoes – she loves Louboutins, which can go for over $1,000. And spending $1,000 on three pairs of jeans in a week is no biggie for Nicole.”

Tom Cruise: ‘I’m Not Motivated by Money’

The Hollywood actor – who stars in the new historical thriller Valkyrie – says he only picks films he “feels like” doing, and isn’t bothered about by financial success.

He says, “I’ve had lots of luck and earned much money during my career.

“Now I don’t do movies for the money. I pick the projects that I feel like doing, and lots of people earn a lot of money with me.”

The actor, 46, also said he will no longer talk about his religious beliefs.

He added to British newspaper The Sun, “I say, ‘That’s it, no more – go to the Scientology website’.”

“[In the past] I think I could have handled things better. I came across as arrogant and I didn’t communicate well.

“But I do feel good about myself at this point in my life. I live to be the best man I can.

“I make mistakes just like everybody else – but I’m out there fighting away.”

Will Smith was planning to resurrect his music career – but his son told him not to.

The Men in Black star – whose hit singles include Gettin’ Jiggy wit It, Just Cruisin‘ and Miami – was thinking about going back into music making until his 10-year-old son said he would look like an idiot.

Will says, “I have no music plans going on at all. My son Jaden said, ‘Dad, you got some good records from before but I think that’s enough.’ He’s Mr. Reality for me.”

Will, 40, has two sons with wife Jada Pinkett-Smith – Jaden Christopher Syre and Willow Camille Reign. He also has a son, Willard Christopher III, with ex-wife Sheree Zampino.

Smith recently revealed he and Jada have no plans to extend their family but are looking forward to becoming grandparents.

He said, “Jada and I sat down and asked, ‘Where do we see ourselves?’ We went to 40 years from now. We see ourselves some place where there are seasons. That’s a big thing for Jada. We think there are mountains. We think we live on a golf course. We don’t have more children – we have grandchildren.”

Jennifer Aniston: ‘My Circle of Friends is Getting Smaller’

Jennifer Aniston doesn’t have enough time to see all of her friends.

The actress, 39 – who shot to fame after starring in the smash hit sitcom Friends – finds it difficult to keep in touch with everyone as she gets older because there just aren’t enough hours in the day.

Aniston explains, “You just don’t have enough time to see everyone. Time is precious. I have a group of about 10 solid friends who are always there – but as you get older that number gets smaller.

“I have friends from 25 years ago and more recent friends. They are all different but all very important to me.”

Aniston recently confessed that her cover shot for GQ magazine – which sees the star posing nude with just a tie draped around her neck – was Photoshopped.

Speaking to Barbara Walters, the actress was met with the magazine cover once more.

Holding up the GQ cover, Walters asked: “What happened to the girl next door from Friends?”

To which Aniston replied: “She’s there! Photoshopped!”
