Will Dakota Fanning be starring in Twilight sequel New Moon?

“It’s not 100 percent yet set in stone but it’s definitely not totally untrue or a rumor,” said the 14-year-old actress – who has been tipped to play Volturi vampire Jane. “It’s definitely a possibility and I think it would be really, really fun to be a part of.”

“I think just playing an evil vampire is really cool,” she adds. “If I got to do [New Moon], that’d probably be the most fun part.”

Fanning – whose breakthrough performance was in the 2001 film I Am Sam – would be starring alongside Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner – who are all confirmed for New Moon – which has a tentative release date of November 20, 2009.

Twilight fans recently started an online petition calling for the powers that be to sign up Fanning as Jane because she would be “perfect” for the role.

Ritchie Won’t Fight Madonna Over Residency Agreement

Guy Ritchie has agreed not to oppose ex-wife Madonna’s plans to take their family to live in America.

It was revealed Friday that Madonna, 50, had been given temporary permission to remove the estranged couple’s two sons – Rocco, 8, and adopted David Banda, 3 – from Britain.

The agreement is to made permanent in a fortnight, and Ritchie, 40, will not fight it for the sake of the children.

A source says, “It is quite simple in Guy’s eyes – Rocco comes before him.

“He has always put Rocco and David’s future ahead of his own and this is why he has relented.

“He is adamant he wants to keep the boys and their sister Lourdes together. He does not want to tear them apart from each other. Guy is telling Rocco and David he will still see them a lot.

“He is already making plans to visit the children in America and looking at the possibility of them having holidays in England.

“The arrangements should be sorted in the next few days. Negotiations have been fairly amicable.”

Guy is also expected to look after the children if Madonna is on tour.

Madonna and Guy announced in November they were to divorce after almost 8 years of marriage.

A preliminary decree of divorce was granted Friday, November 21, 2008, and became final on Friday, January 2, 2009.

The issue of where their children will live has been ongoing as the Snatch director wants the siblings to be educated in the UK, but Madonna’s divorce lawyers said the children should not be split up and should remain with their mother.

Madonna also has a 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes, whose father Carlos Leon lives in New York.
