Blake Lively is surprised that people gossip about her height.

The Gossip Girl star says that of all the rumors about her, she is most mystified about talk that she’s far shorter than the leggy 5ft 10ins she claims to be.

Blake explains, “There was like a full page spread in one magazine about how I lie and I say I’m 5ft 10ins when I’m really 5ft 2ins.

“First of all I’m not 5ft 2ins, I am 5ft 10ins. When I saw the article I was like, ‘How is that interesting for anyone?’”

Isla Fisher doesn’t enjoy shopping.

The Australian actress – who stars in new movie Confessions of a Shopaholic – says she shops “with a purpose” because she hates spending hours in stores – as she often ends up buying clothes she never wears.

“I have never been a good shopper,” Isla reveals. “I don’t really enjoy it. I like to get in and get out with a purpose.

“I find that when I buy things I buy the same thing over and over again. It will be a specific kids of bright top and I never have what you call basics. So it doesn’t really go with anything.

“I wouldn’t describe myself as a fashionista but I am definitely not as shy about dressing as I used to be. I have learnt a lot.”

Lily Allen finds it “therapeutic” to write songs.

The British star – who recently stormed the UK charts with her second (and brilliant!) album It’s Not Me, It’s You – says making music helps her forget her troubles.

She reveals, “Writing songs is very therapeutic because it means I can say what I want to say and just give it to the person it’s about, and they can listen to it.”

“I suppose I do reveal a lot about myself,” Lily adds, “but that’s because I’m not really very good at communicating with people face to face on an emotional level.

“I find it all quite difficult. I suppose that’s because I was forced into doing quite a lot of therapy after my mum went into rehab for depression. I was ten and I would have to go to group therapy weekends when I was visiting her – I used to hate it so much.”

Lily, 23, also says she looks forward to touring – but doesn’t enjoy traveling to the venues, adding: “I look forward to singing and playing to my audience; I don’t look forward to getting up early in the morning and getting on planes and going to places that I don’t know much about and not getting to see them but having to sit in a room and eat bread and cheese and ham, which is basically what it is.”

And her perfect night in?

“Cooking dinner and watching TV, with the dog or a friend,” she tells the Daily Mail. “Last week I cooked a huge bit of beef, potato dauphinoise and French beans with Roquefort cheese and walnuts for friends. In the week I cook lots of chicken broths and lots of spicy things and oriental stuff.”

Kate Hudson is planning to start a family with boyfriend Owen Wilson.

The Bride Wars star – who has a son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson – recently rekindled her on-off romance with the Marley & Me actor after they split in May 2007.

And Hudson and Wilson are now ready to take their relationship to the next level by having a child together, reports British newspaper The Sun.

A source tells the publication, “Kate and Owen initially got back together three months ago after realizing they couldn’t live without each other. Now they are ready to become parents.

“Kate has been desperate for a brother or sister for Ryder.

“It was a stumbling block previously with Owen. He’s always had a difficult time committing, but this time it’s different.

“Kate was with him throughout his recovery and that made Owen realize how much he loves her.

“They’ve discussed the idea of becoming parents at length and Kate has seen a change in Owen.

“He is now is truly committed and is showing a new-found maturity.

“He loves the idea of being a dad and has told Kate that he’s ready when she is, but the sooner, the better!”

The source continues, “Kate is over the moon and really wants to start a family with Owen now she feels that he has finally grown up.

“The fact that he is ready to make that commitment to her has given her faith in the relationship.

“Kate’s family are all really behind the relationship as well after seeing how Owen has turned it around.

“Everyone is now confident the relationship will work out long-term and they will be together forever.”

Amy Winehouse’s estranged husband is set to flee the UK in a bid to escape the troubled star, it has been claimed.

As Showbiz Spy reported earlier this week, Winehouse, 25, was set to fly back home to London from St Lucia after Blake was released from prison. The star is said to be determined to get her marriage back on track.

But Blake has refused to see the Rehab hitmaker, and is planning to push through a divorce, reports British newspaper The Sun.

A source tells the publication, “He’s turned a corner since he last saw Amy.

“His mum Georgette plans to sell up and get Blake to another country. They don’t want to squander all the hard work.”

Blake, 26, was jailed for 27 months last July for assaulting a pub landlord and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Clive Owen is planning to make a kids’ film – because his children keep asking him to.

The actor – who can soon be seen starring alongside Julia Roberts in new spy movie Duplicity – refuses to allow allow his daughters Hannah, 12, and nine-year-old Eve watch his usual movies due to their adult content, so they have started pestering him to star in a child-friendly film.

Speaking on the UK’s Jonathan Ross Show, Owen said, “It’s really beginning to get to them that they can’t see my films.

“They’re like, ‘Why can’t we watch it? We know it’s a movie!’ But the idea of them sitting down and watching ‘Closer’ or 18-rated ‘Shoot ‘Em Up’ is a big no no. So they are putting serious pressure on me to do a kids’ film.”

Speaking of his new film Duplicity, Owen addeed, “It had some of the best dialogue I’ve read in years. It’s got great dialogue scenes with lots of wicked humor.

“It reminded me of old Cary Grant films, like ‘His Girl Friday’, because it trips along with great speed and rhythm.”

Alexandra Burke hopes to be a “little Beyonce”.

The British singer – who shot to fame after winning the 2008 season of Britain’s The X Factor – is keen to distance herself from fellow X Factor champion Leona Lewis but is happy to be compared her idol Knowles, who she sang a duet with during the final of the TV talent show.

Burke says, “Leona is a fantastic singer but people need to realise that we’re different. There’s enough room for both us. Leona is like a little Mariah and I hope I can show that I’m a little Beyonce.

“I don’t to just sing covers. I want to do what Leona did and go to Los Angeles and work with producers. It would be great to have the success she’s had.”

Paris Hilton only as “about five” close friends.

The socialite and hotel heiress – whose show Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend is currently airing on television in the UK – insists there are only a handful of people in her life she can really trust.

She explains, “Honestly, I only have about five really close friends. My sister Nicky is one of them, although she is different from me. She’s shy and prefers to stay behind the scenes.

“When I was a teenager people abused my trust, it really hurt my feelings. But now it’s happened so much I’ve learned who to trust and who not to.

“From different experiences you start to learn what kind of people you want in your life.”

Rihanna and Chris Brown are reportedly back together.

The pair – who have spent almost three weeks apart since Brown’s Feb. 8 arrest for allegedly assaulting the singer, which reportedly left her with two “huge contusions” on both sides of her forehead, a bloody lip and bloody nose – reunited earlier this week, according to People magazine.

“They’re together again. They care for each other,” a source said, adding the pair are  currently spending time together at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ homes, on Miami Beach’s Star Island.

“While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves,” the source added.

As previously reported on Showbiz Spy, Brown, 19, called Rihanna on her 21st birthday – and splashed out on a diamond bracelet and necklace for the star.

Gisele Bundchen is a married woman!

The Brazilian supermodel wed beau Tom Brady at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif. just before 6 p.m. Thursday.

A source tells Us Weekly magazine that the ceremony was “very small and intimate,” and guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady’s son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.

The pair – who got engaged last month – followed the wedding with a small gathering at their Brentwood home.

Bündchen, 28, donned a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana.

Reps for New England Patriots quarterback Brady and Bündchen could not be reached for comment.
