Michael Jackson’s Nanny Sets The Record Straight

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson’s former nanny has spoken out to set the record straight regarding recent statements that had been attributed to her in the press.

Grace Rwaramba apparently told a British newspaper that Jackson used to regularly overdose on drugs. “I had to pump his stomach many times . . . He always mixed so much of it,” she was quoted as saying. “There was one period that it was so bad that I didn’t let the children see him.”

But in a new statement Rwaramba says, “Michael Jackson was an exceptional Human Being. He was gifted, deeply compassionate and brought joy to the lives of so many. He loved his family dearly, and above all, his beautiful children.

“In addition to being my employer over the past 17 years and entrusting the care of his beloved children to me, he was my dear friend. While our friendship had challenges, as do all friendships, he was loyal to the end. I cherish and honor his memory.

“I am shocked, hurt and deeply saddened by recent statements the press has attributed to me, in particular, the outrageous and patently false claim that I ‘routinely pumped his stomach after he had ingested a dangerous combination of drugs.’ I don’t even know how to pump a stomach!! In addition, I have never spoken to the Times Online, the original source of the story that has now been picked up worldwide. The statements attributed to me confirm the worst in human tendencies to sensationalize tragedy and smear reputations for profit.

“I convey my heartfelt and deepest condolences to Prince, Paris, Blanket and the entire Jackson family. The pain and sorrow I feel over the loss of Michael pales in comparison to what has been taken from them forever.”

Jackson, 50, died Thursday after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles.

Michael’s autopsy — conducted by the L.A. County Coroner — concluded that there was no trauma to the star’s body and “no indication of foul play”.

The coroner said that Michael had been taking “some prescription medications.”

Kristen Stewart Reduced to Tears!

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart was reduced to tears while filming her new movie The Runaways — after Joan Jett criticized her acting skills.

The Twilight star is playing the legendary rocker in the upcoming biopic.

Jett apparently gave Kristen a “hard time” during filming in a bid to improve her performance — but it caused the young actress to cry.

“Joan just wants Kristen to play an authentic version of herself, so she needled her a little bit too much,” a source said. “But she apologized when she realized how upset Kristen got.

Kristen recently admitted that she was feeling the pressure that comes with playing a real person onscreen. “It’s one of the most immense responsibilities to play a real person,” she said. “Her story’s important. It’s an incredibly triumphant feminist story really.”

It’s no wonder Kristen’s emotions are running high, though — she’s worried her sexy beau, Robert Pattinson, is getting a little bit too cozy with his new costar Emilie de Ravin.

Lady GaGaLady GaGa likes to her bit for those in need.

The Poker Face singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, visited the HIV Support Center for music-based volunteer program Orange RockCorps in Manchester, England, yesterday.

And GaGa insists she has been doing good deeds ever since she could speak.

“I’ve been doing volunteer work since I was two,” she told The Sun newspaper. “When I can, I do everything I can for those in need.

“When I was in school in New York I did 60 hours a year of volunteering with young people hungry for a life in theater.

“It was for kids who didn’t go to schools with good theatre facilities. It was a great cause.”

“I want to make it fashionable to have safe sex,” she added. “You must be safe. You can have sex with hundreds of people with a condom on and get nothing.

“If you have sex without one, then you could get all sorts of problems.”

Michael Jackson Didn’t Inspire Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka

Johnny DeppDid  Michael Jackson inspire Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka?

No!

“I wish I could say that I was inspired by him for a role,” said Depp, who played the fantastical character in the film adaptation of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. “I was inspired by him because I think he was a great artist but he was not the inspiration for Willy Wonka contrary to what most people say.”

Depp, 46, also denied he was playing Jackson in a film.

“No no no, I never ever thought of playing Michael Jackson in a film, I think if anyone should play Michael Jackson in a film it should’ve been Michael Jackson,” he said.

“A mother and a father have lost a son, siblings have lost a brother and millions of people around the world have lost someone they love,” Depp said of Jackson’s recent passing. “Children have lost a father so it’s obviously a very sad, sad moment.”

The actor — who plays The Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s new movie Alice In Wonderland — added that he hoped he hadn’t put off Burton from casting him in forthcoming films.

“If he can deal with me after this he can deal with anything,” said Johnny.
