JESSICA Simpson has the perfect body — according to her little sister, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

In a new interview with the December issue of Women’s Health magazine, Ashlee hit out at the media for criticizing Jessica’s weight.

“My sister has an incredible body. I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she’s one sexy lady,” the actress said.

“It’s disgusting that people would say those things.”

Ashlee — who gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli in November last year — says her husband, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, still finds his wife sexy — despite her stretch marks.

“Pete isn’t worried about stretch marks,” she said. “He always makes me feel sexy.

“There’s gonna be a time when I’m way curvier, and that’ll be sexy too. What defines sexy is not someone’s weight. Personally I like curves. … I wanna look good [for me]. I wanna feel good.”

ASHLEE Simpson-Wentz is set to make her Broadway debut in Chicago.

The actress — who was recently fired from her role on US TV show Melrose Place — will play the character of Roxie Hart.

Simpson played Roxie Hart in Chicago in 2006 in London’s West End.

Fran and Barry Weissler, the show’s producers, were really pleased with Simpson’s performance in London, and had wanted her for some time to reprise the role, according to Gossip Cop.

Simpson will begin her Broadway run in December and perform for six weeks.

Ashlee’s role on Broadway will no doubt come as a surprise to many.

Melrose Place insiders recently claimed Pete Wentz’s wife can’t actually act.

“They hired her because they needed a good name to help create buzz,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.

“But she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible.

“She’s the worst actress, but nobody will tell her.”

ASHLEE Simpson-Wentz behaved like a “total diva” on the set of Melrose Place, it has been claimed.

The singer and alleged actress — who was recently dropped from the show — was apparently very unpopular with her colleagues.

“Ashlee was kicked off Melrose Place because she was a total diva on set, late all the time, and deeply disliked by fellow cast members,” an insider said. “It created a lot of discord among the cast.”

The source says Ashlee was dropped so the show could afford to have Heather Locklear reprise her role.

“They basically trimmed the fat and made it possible for Heather to join the show,” said the source. “Heather is a much bigger name than Ashlee.”

Sources have also described Ashlee’s acting as “embarrassingly bad”.

On Sunday, the 29-year-old wrote, “CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with,but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press.”

ASHLEE Simpson-Wentz feels “crushed” after being fired from her role in TV show Melrose Place.

The singer/actress and her costar Colin Egglesfield were cut from the CW drama last week. She will see her final Melrose Place episode air in January.

Ashlee, sources says, is devastated to be out of a job.

“Ashlee didn’t see it coming, and now she’s crushed,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her.

“She is struggling to hold her marriage together, dealing with motherhood and practically starving herself to look good.

“Ashlee’s friends are concerned that she’s headed for an emotional meltdown,” said the insider.

“She was desperate to establish herself as a serious actress, but now she’s worried that she’s failing.”

Ashlee’s marriage to rocker Pete Wentz is also said to be on the rocks.

“Ashlee is jealous of the groupies who throw themselves at Pete, and Pete is frustrated with Ashlee’s obsession with her looks and her career,” added the insider.

ASHLEE-Simpson Wentz is set to join the unemployed masses — after being fired from TV show Melrose Place.

The singer/actress and her costar Colin Egglesfield have both been cut from the CW drama, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Simpson-Wentz will see her final Melrose Place episode air in January.

The decision to cut the two actors has been “the original plan going into the development of the show,” said executive producer Todd Slavkin. “We felt that once the murder mystery [involving their characters] was resolved, the tone of the show was going to shift … and [Simpson-Wentz's] character would move on.”

Ashlee has since released a statement.

“Having the chance to play Violet on Melrose Place has been a thrill,” she said. “Although I always knew her story would come to a final, insanely unpredictable end, playing a creepy, unstable character was something I always wanted to do, so I jumped at the chance.

“Thanks to the CW and the entire cast and crew of Melrose Place for allowing me this opportunity.”

Simpson-Wentz and Egglesfield took the news “like professionals,” says Slavkin. “Because they knew ahead of time [that leaving was a possibility], it wasn’t a complete shock.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz says she can’t wait for Heather Locklear to join the cast of Melrose Place.

The 47-year-old actress will reprise her role as Amanda Woodward on the new CW version of the show, it was announced Tuesday.

Locklear will make her debut appearance Nov. 17.

“We’re all really thrilled that Heather is coming back!” Ashlee told People magazine.

“Of course we are — she was kind of the heart of the show. It’s been great to have a lot of the original cast, and to have Heather join is really incredible. I’m excited!”

“We do a table read on Thursday so I’ll meet her tomorrow,” Simpson added. “I’m really looking forward to it.”

Ashlee Simpson doesn’t need to go to the gym now that she’s a mom — she says running around after her baby son is enough to keep her in shape.

The Melrose Place star says she was so busy looking after her baby Bronx that the weight just fell off her.

“I worked out for three months after having Bronx but now having to run around after him is enough of a work out,” she said.

Simpson — who is married to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz — recently revealed that doing yoga helped her bond with Bronx.

“Your body is changing, and it’s such an amazing time to feel that connection,” she said. “I did prenatal yoga, which was a nice way to mellow down and focus on me and Bronx.

“Being pregnant was the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. Except for the cupcakes!”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz says yoga helped her bond with her child.

The 24-year-old star — who has a nine-month-old son, Bronx Mowgli, with husband Pete Wentz — loved doing the low-impact stretching exercises when she was pregnant as it made her feel closer to her baby.

“Your body is changing, and it’s such an amazing time to feel that connection,” she said. “I did prenatal yoga, which was a nice way to mellow down and focus on me and Bronx.

“Being pregnant was the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. Except for the cupcakes!”

Ashlee enjoyed being pregnant, adding it gave her valuable time to adjust to the way her life was changing.

“I’ve grown up so much,” she told Redbook magazine. “The great thing about being pregnant is that you have nine months and it really does prepare you.

“Being a mom’s so empowering and incredible. I’m one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that’s where the best moments come from.”

Ashlee Simpson is a super-protective mom — she’s already worried about her 10-month-old son dating!

The singer and Melrose Place actress — who has Bronx Mowgli with husband Pete Wentz — is already concerned about what type of women the toddler may bring home.

“Pete is definitely overprotective, I know that,” Simpson told Rachael Ray on The Rachael Ray Show. “And I’m definitely going to be laying the boundaries down.

“But it’s different for a girl than with a guy, so I think we’ll have to grow together and be able to lay the boundaries. But with Bronx, there will be a curfew and all that. I don’t want him to grow up in the middle of Hollywood.”

Fall Out Boy rocker Pete recently revealed that he and Ashlee are planning to move away from Hollywood so Bronx can lead a “normal” life.

“Once you have a kid it’s a little bit different. You’re more protective. You want them to have a normal life, or as normal as possible,” he said.

“We’re going to figure out moving somewhere that’s a little less (public). But we still got to be close enough where we can work.

“There’ll be too many paparazzi and you’ll get mobbed. You’re just trying to protect your wife or your kid. It’s just frustrating.”
