KELLAN Lutz is adamant he isn’t dating his Twilight costar Ashley Greene — their relationship is simply platonic.

The hunky star — who place Emmett Cullen in the vampire movie franchise — says he’s annoyed by the romance rumors, because it implies he can’t be friends with a woman.

“Every day I hear that Ashley and I are dating,” he told E! News.

“It’s like, why can’t friends be friends with the opposite sex? Like, is it that bizarre?”

The 24-year-old then went on to claim that Eclipse, the follow-up to Twilight sequel New Moon, is a more “masculine movie”.

“It’s going to be one of those movies where guys who aren’t fans of the Twilight series but like seeing a good kickass action movie are going to see it,” he explained.

“And they’re going to bring their girlfriends who are anti-Twilight because they don’t want to be on that bandwagon. Then they’re going to come and fall in love with it, too.”

ASHLEY Greene insists she won’t bemoan her fame — she was desperate to become a star!

The actress, 22, says she “badly” wanted a part in the Twilight films, so she has nothing to complain about — even though she’s constantly being followed by the paparazzi.

“Oh, my God, I wanted this part so badly! I worked my butt off for it because I absolutely love Alice, my character,” Greene tells the December issue of Maxim, out Nov. 17. “She’s sweet, sexy, and a killer! So when they told me I got it, I tried to play it all cool, you know, for about a minute.

“Suddenly the Twilight blogs started picking it up, and then fans were there taking photos, and I’m on the news, and I was like, ‘What?’ And then I got really nervous.”

“It’s crazy, right?” she added. “I think my dog is more famous than a lot of stars out there. I bet some people in Hollywood are like, ‘I can’t get my picture in a mag, but Ashley’s pooch [Marlo] does?’ It’s mind-boggling.”

Greene recently admitted that she’s insecure about her looks.

“Sometimes I wake up and don’t feel beautiful,” she said. “No one is perfect — everyone has their insecurities.

“The gym helps a bit. Usually getting out in the fresh air helps you focus on everything around you and not so much on yourself.”

“The first one was very focused on this love story and really sweet and it was beautiful, but it didn’t have a lot of stuff that guys would go, ‘Yeah, I want to go see that.’

“There’s going to be a lot more focus on [action], and the fight scene will have more emphasis on it. I definitely think it will be a little more guy-friendly.”

Ashley Greene says female Twilight fans will be able to take their boyfriends along to the cinema when they go and see Eclipse — because the third film in the vampire franchise is “more guy friendly”.

The actress says that Eclipse’s director (David Slade) intends to include more action in the hotly-anticipated movie.

Ashley Greene has been given some top tips from Taylor Swift on how to be the perfect correspondent for the MTV Video Music Awards.

Last year Swift was the fashion correspondent for the VMAs and this year Greene, 22, is set to follow in the Love Story singer’s footsteps.

Swift advises Greene — who plays Alice Cullen in Twilight – that, “you have to think on your toes”.

When asked about what qualities a good correspondent should have, Swift told MTV News, “[It should be] someone who really likes talking to people and who has really great style.

“I think that my tips as far as being a fashion correspondent are: don’t rehearse, because … they’ll be like, ‘Alright, well, here are all the people coming to the VMAs, here are the people that are gonna show up on the red carpet’.”

Those nude photographs of Twilight star Ashley Greene are real — her lawyer has threatened to sue anyone who publishes them.

The photos, which show Greene in all her glory, surfaced online Monday afternoon.

“The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed,” Greene’s lawyer says in a statement. “Our client intends to take legal action.”

Greene hit the red carpet Sunday for the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles, where she picked up the Choice Fresh Face Female award. In total, Twilight bagged 11 gongs at the award show.

The 22-year-old also revealed how she’s getting into shape for her intense fighting scenes in the upcoming third installment of the Twilight films, Eclipse.

“Oh, it’s so hard, but I know I’m going to love it in three months,” she said.  “I usually do Pilates.

“But I worked with an amazing trainer who really catered my workouts to what I like to do. He’d say, ‘you like to go kayaking? Let’s go kayaking.”

After meeting at Oakley’s “Learn to Ride” surf event last Friday in Santa Barbara, Calif., the Twilight actress and the Entourage hunk met again for a surfing date this Wednesday in the O.C., closer to LA.

“They really hit it off and loved learning to surf at the Oakley event, so they thought they’d combine their new passions by getting to know each other better while going surfing,” a source told American tabloid Life & Style.

Greene and Grenier “hit it off,” a source, who saw the pair dancing together to music by Kelley James on Friday night, told People magazine earlier this week. “[They] really had a great time.

“They were flirting and dancing close all night long. They held nothing back dancing — it was pretty intense.”

“[They] got super cozy all weekend. They were very cute,” the source added. “They were hanging out nonstop and they only met Friday. They spent the whole time together — surfed together — everything.”
